  Rishi Kohli was our guide for this tour. I had travelled with my wife and 7 YO son. He is best in his work. He planned the entire itinerary very well, kept us properly updated on the weather, schedule etc. he ensured that we all are comfortable throughout the journey. He also has a good geography knowledge. Would highly recommend him for your trips !

  Our Guide In Amritsar was Rishi Kohli, a facilitator with Tourist India With Peace. Rishi was amazing, My wife and I had only had one day in Amritsar. He scheduled very nicely to utilize our time keeping in mind not to over tire us since I am about 81 year old. He came to our hotel early morning to pick us up and took us to see morning ceremony at Golden Temple, Guided tour of Golden temple. Jallianwala Bhag, Wagah boarder. He even took us to a famous place to eat Local food. Rishi was very knowledgeable with subject history. He was very kind and customer oriented. He answered all our questions. I strongly recommend him for the tour guide of Amritsar.

  This was a very thoughtfully planned full-day tour. The morning in Amritsar city felt calm and immersive, especially around the Golden Temple. We never felt rushed, which allowed us to really take in the surroundings. Later in the day, heading to Wagah Border was handled smoothly, including seating and timing. The ceremony itself was energetic and emotional. By the end of the day, we felt tired but deeply satisfied.

  We had an outstanding experience on our Amritsar tour. Everything was exceptionally well organised from start to finish, which made the day smooth, enjoyable and stress-free. Our guide was highly professional, enthusiastic and truly passionate about sharing the history and culture of Amritsar. His knowledge was excellent, and the way he presented the information kept us fully engaged throughout the tour. One of the absolute highlights was the exclusive behind-the-scenes visit to the Golden Temple, which gave us a deeper and more meaningful insight into the Sikh community and its traditions. The guide interacted with us with genuine interest, encouraged questions, and made us feel personally connected to the experience. His English was excellent, making every explanation clear and easy to follow. The transport was extremely comfortable – the van was spacious and allowed us to travel in great comfort. Our driver was both relaxed and efficient, contributing to a very pleasant journey between locations. We were also very impressed with the choice of restaurant. The local food was delicious, authentic and perfectly selected to complement the day. Overall, this tour exceeded expectations on every level. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Amritsar and wanting a truly memorable, insightful and well-run experience.

  The trip was perfect timings and rishi the tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We really liked the small touches in sense of a small bag of gifts provided which contained water snacks and a lovely fridge magnet to remember our time in Amritsar. The time spent at golden temple with the tour around the grounds was really nice to see especially the way the food is prepared and allowing me to get stuck in a help to get an idea how they provide to all the visitors that visit. The wagah border ceremony was excellent. Was a long waiting time but has to be done for getting good seats. Excellent tour and explaination of everything. Would definitely recommend

  I joined the city tour with guide Simran and felt safe and cared for the whole time. She explained history with passion, helped me try local kulchas, and even showed me how to tie a head covering properly at Golden Temple. Highly recommend for solo travellers.

  We spent a full day with our guide Aman, and he honestly made Amritsar come alive for us. At the Golden Temple he explained the meaning behind each ritual, and even encouraged us to join the langar. Serving food there was a humbling experience we’ll never forget. In the evening, Aman timed everything perfectly at Wagah Border so we didn’t get stuck in the rush. We left Amritsar feeling like we had seen the city through the eyes of a local friend.

  We booked the full day Amritsar tour and honestly, it was one of the smoothest tours we’ve done in India. Our guide Aman gave us a great introduction at the Golden Temple pointing out details we would’ve missed on our own. Spending time inside was both peaceful and moving. In the evening, we went for the Wagah Border ceremony. Thanks to Aman we got good seats and avoided most of the chaos getting in and out. The driver kept the car cool with water stocked, and the whole day ran on time without ever feeling rushed. It’s a long day, but very well balanced. If you want to see the main highlights of Amritsar in comfort, this is definitely the way to do it.
