We booked this tour online and were pleasantly surprised by how warm and enthusiastic our tour guide, Arya, was. She had a great itinerary lined up - watching how coconut thread was made, a delicious lunch, and a botanical garden. Thank you Arya!

An amazing trip, organized by Stanley, guided by the wonderful and highly experienced Meera. She knew everything about everything and was so kind and helpful 🫶 The nature may exist without mankind - but mankind not without nature!

This is SUCH A GOOD TOUR! The route is not the typical one, which means you get to see the backwaters without them being crowded with other tourist boats Meera the tour guide is a real local, speaks great english and is super knowledgeable. Meeting other locals living on the islands was very pleasant (and notably didn't come with pressure to buy any goods as is normally the case on tours like this!) We saw some incredible things including animals, local crafts and lots of spices being grown Thanks Stanley and Meera for a wonderful day out 💗

We really enjoyed our day on the backwaters with our lovely and knowledgeable guide, Meera. The surroundings are very tranquil and we saw lots of interesting birds and other wildlife. The thing I liked most was this trip was away from other tourists and felt more authentic than other tours in Alleppey where it is much busier. The lunch was delicious and I really enjoyed the stop at the village to learn about local skills. Our drivers (both on the bus and the boats) were very friendly! Would recommend booking directly through Wilson Tours in Fort Kochi. (And don’t forget sunscreen, in the afternoon you are on an open roof boat!)

Very nice experience. They took us on a shikara boat on some of the main canals. We stopped to see thatched roof weaving and coir making. Then we kept riding until a nice Kerala style lunch. Then went on punting boat down small canal to spice farm and finally tea stop. All in all nice experience

We definitely recommend this day tour to explore the backwaters of Kerala, done in two different types of boats. Intimate, serene, varied program, educational about village life, flora and fauna. Very well organised. Our knowledgeable guide Ayra added to the positive experience.
