we will start through the tea plantations for about 90 to 120 minutes, After reaching the top of the hill, rest of our couple of hours trek will be on the ridge which offers beautiful views around, through grasslands, one side will be rocky mountain slope and the other side will be tea plantations, patches of Shola forest etc…, in a clear sky day we could see the Anaimudi “highest peak in S. India” and the water reservoir of Idukki Dam which listed as highest arch dams in Asia and third tallest dam in India. We will have refreshment with some fruits and snacks, our trek we will be through Nature Zone nature resort where we can see some of exotic spices like Coffee, Cardamom, etc…, After will continue our Walk to the most top peak (2000 mtr) then will walk back through shola forest about 10 minutes to tea plantation. Will have another 90 minutes to 120 minutes walk through the tea plantations to finish the trek, highest point of this trek will be about 2000 meters MSL (approx).

Raja showed us the beauty of the Munnar tea hills and provided us great insights into the tea harvesting and production. We had a nice hike, not too hard, but still a bit challenging even for is experienced hikers

Rameshさんのツアーのハイライトはジャングルから出てきた象に遭遇できたこと、たくさんの植物の説明をしてくださったことでした。歩くペースもちょうどよく素晴らしい時間を過ごすことができました。 The highlight of Ramesh's tour was encountering an elephant emerging from the jungle and him explaining about the many plants. The walking pace was just right and we had a wonderful time.

It was a beautiful day! Beautiful views, a very good and friendly guide. He told us so much interesting things. We saw also an elephant very close, that was such a surprise.

We really enjoyed our hike trough the tea plantations and up a mountain with Rajan! He told us a lot about the tea plantations, harvesting tea, the different kinds of tea and even the history of tea. He also showed us a lot of other plants and told us about their medical uses. We got some really good homemade food and tea on the way as well!

We did the full day hiking trip with Raja earlier today. The best way to experience Munnar. Raja was very knowledgeable and helpful and his wife cooked us an amazing lunch which we ate at 2000 m. Fantastic day

We went on the full day hike with Rajain. We are not regular hikers and we found the hike moderately intense, not so hard. Our guide Rajain gave us really good information and also packed water, homemade snacks, tea and lunch for us which were all very delicious. Rajain told us about the history and nature of the region, gave a lot of information about the plants. We were also able to see an elephant (although from very far away :D). Overall, would definitely recommend to anyone going to Munnar!

Our tour was with Subramani and it was nothing short of amazing. He was very knowledgeable, very accommodating and courteous. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, took us to all the cool spots and made sure we were well fed and also ensured we took breaks wherever needed. He gave us plenty of snacks, fresh fruit and lunch! The trail itself is beautiful and not too challenging and suitable for families. There are parts that are slightly steep but plenty of relatively flat parts to recover. We saw beautiful landscapes at every turn. This experience offers a good mix of being able to see the tea plantations, forests and mountains that Munnar has to offer, along with brief history lessons as applicable. Highly recommend!

Subramani was a superb guide! Very very knowledgeable and attentive. It’s the small things and his attention to detail that made this experience a memorable one. We are thinking about coming back to Munnar next year for the neelakurinji bloom and if we do, we’ll be requesting Subramani by name. 10/10 overall.
