The most prominent historical landmark in Taiwan, the CKS Memorial Hall was erected in honor and memory of Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek, the former President of the Republic of China, and was opened in 1980 as part of a national park and gathering area. I’m rating this private tour a 4 - while we were disappointed with the quality of the experience, guide Steven was kind and his pre-tour communications were excellent; also, the cost was reasonable compared to other private tours we’ve booked all over the world. But if you are looking for a comprehensive tour with a lot of commentary and local insights this probably is not it. Basically we had a private car and driver for 8 hours, and he dropped us off at various sites and let us explore on our own. There was a lot of silence in the car driving from one site to another; I understand that as guests we share the responsibility to ask questions, but I also expect a private guide to initiate some of this. Consider your own needs and expectations before booking.

Excellent private tour of Taipei with Alex. Great driver and very good guide in a clean and newer car. We provided a list of the places we wanted to see and he curated the day. Alex was informative and always friendly and courteous. Great day all around!!

Great trip from Keelung to Taipei to tour the city, see the most interesting sites, and learn about the rich culture. Our guide, Cody, was very willing to customize our tour and provided so many great experiences! Fun to try some wonderful local tea, treats, and egg noodles/pork dumplings in the midst of a full day! Wonderful memories!

Nice experience. Tour guide very nice with good knowledge of English. Before the tour remember to have some cash with you. Museum entry paid with cash only.

Our experience with our tour guide Vincent was great. We were able to connect with him on whats app ahead of time and had no problem meeting up with him at the cruise port. We had 8 stops planned and we were able to go to all 8 of the places plus about 3 additional stops. Vincent knew where to stop for the best views and was helpful in taking our pictures together at many of the stops. I highly recommend taking this tour to make the most of your time in Taipei, Taiwan.

Great way to get to know a bit about Taipei and Taiwan. Our guide Cody went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. He was punctual, knowledgeable and friendly. Very comfortable vehicle. Would definitely use this service again.

Steven was the best driver/guide we could’ve asked for. Communication was great and port pick up was easy. We had a full day and saw so much more than we expected. We travel with walkers and portable oxygen and he arranged everything to minimize walking and still allow us to experience as much as we could. We saw Houtong cat village, coal museum, tons of scenery and then headed to Tapei to see the major sights as well as some exhibits at the Palace Museum. At several stops he dropped us and then parked and met us at the doors which was truly helpful! We asked so many questions and learned so much from him. Definitely went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful day. We would recommend him to anyone!
