  This was the best tour I've ever done! Vincent our tour guide was amazing! He went above and beyond right from the start by making us feel welcomed. He even put down a stool and held my elderly mother and aunts hand to get in to his vehicle. We were guided through all the amazing city sites while learning the history. We tried amazing street food, refreshing herbal drinks, bubble tea and had a delicious lunch at a restaurant. My family and I truly consider Vincent as a friend and what a gentleman! I will never forget this trip ❤️

  Vincent was our tour guide for the city tour in Taipei and was truly exceptional at his job. A local, his English is excellent and he is thoughtful toward the needs of his tour group and it's individuals, dropping them close to each site and walking quickly back to give them a clear, concise, understandable, and logical explanation of the past and how it connects to current Taiwan and it's people. He is very knowledgeable, fun and down to earth, with a great sense of humor and took beautiful pictures of my husband and I throughout the day that we will enjoy and use in our memories of the trip and fir special occasions in the coming years. We saw all the places listed in the tour outline and were especially impressed with Taipei 101, the temples, and the park we walked through. We were only slightly hungry at lunch, so he drove us to his favorite little dumpling house along the way where they make the dumplings in front of customers, and he got us set up inside, ordered what we wanted, and left us to eat, returning to the car to eat the food he brought with him, even though we offered to take him to lunch. He returned just in time to help us pay the bill. He was perfect and we now leave Taiwan with a better understanding of it's challenging history and their present day situation, and will take home with us a wonderful, lasting memory of the day we spent with Vincent.

  We had a wonderful experience with Vincent Lee. He was our guide and driver. He’s very knowledgeable of the places we went and the history and we learned a lot from him. He’s a very good photographer and we ended up with lots of beautiful photos and videos. He took us to the famous DinTai Fung for lunch and ordered our food. Ordering food is high tech and we wouldn’t know how to do it. He took our photos at the restaurant and a video with Oona, the Robot. We had a busy day, but with Vincent navigating places we need to see, it didn’t feel tiring. He changed our itinerary to starting earlier to beat the crowd since it was a Sunday. And when we didn’t want to go to the crowded and busy Dinghua Street, he took us to The Grand Hotel instead. I highly recommend to take this Private Full Day Tour of Taipei City. Itinerary is very flexible which we preferred.

  Our family with 3 teenagers had a great time on February 6th on an informative interesting private tour with Aaron who was very knowledgeable and thoughtful throughout 8 hours trip. We got to choose our wish list from recommended destinations by TripAdvisor: - ⁠Yanmingshan national park with a natural hot spring - foot bath - ⁠national palace museum - ⁠cat village yangminhshan is a beautiful place especially for people who love hiking. The public foot bath at nearby hot springs was really nice. National Palace museum was fascinating and there was a nice cafe to get some good lunch or drinks. Cat village visit was lovely and quite emotional for me and the kids since we all love cats. It’s really nice to see that the local and volunteers are taking good care of these beautiful animals. There were little houses or beds for the cats to rest all around. The volunteers recommended us, visitors, to bring good cat food with good nutrition with us, if we wanted to feed the cats, since the local shops only sell cat fast-food snacks in little packages which were really bad for cats’ kidneys and were expensive, so don’t buy cat food from local shops at the Cat Village. Anyway, the volunteers provide food to the cats daily so they are well fed and not hungry. • Monuments and more

  I knew it was going to be a bit hectic to cram in a whole lot of national monuments in a day, but it was definitely worth it. It wasn’t just the locations we went, it was the insights that Jack was able to provide on the history, geography and cultural life of Taiwan. Locations and monuments are one thing, but getting an insight into the people who make up a nation is another thing entirely. Sure, it was just one day, but it was an unforgettable day. I suppose every happy traveler thinks their guide was the best guide in the world, but Jack was that and more. Plus he is a dog lover. In my books that is the measure of a man. Hope when I get to Taiwan again, Jack is still guiding.

  Hicks was a great guide, very knowledgeable about the history of Taiwan and China, and extremely friendly and helpful. He drove us around and we hit the main sights in Taipei: Lungshan temple, Chiang Kai-Shek memorial, Taipei 101, Grand Hotel, National Revolutionary Martyrs' Memorial. We had a delicious beef noodle soup, and he advised us about how to visit the National Palace Museum the next day and get on the English guided tour. Highly recommended.

  Nicholas Ying is the best tour guide! We felt very comfortable with him. He’s very knowledgeable, friendly, funny and took good care of us. Also an excellent driver and photographer! He will be recommended to friends and family in the near future. We covered a lot of places in a day. Great experience for us!

  Absolutely worth doing! Our guide Aaron was wonderful …so informative and caring. Didn’t rush us at all…unlike being in a large group. We’ve decided that private tours are the way to go!! Ask for Aaron when you book this tour! 🌺
