5.00If you've got time to spare for a layover I highly recommend this experience! Our guide Jackson was very knowledgeable and was able to craft a tailored and efficient itinerary for our 8 hour layover so we could make the most of our time there. Not only was he extremely friendly but he was also our own personal photographer which was greatly appreciated! If you want to immerse yourself into Taiwanese culture and cuisine, this is the experience for you!

5.00We had a cruise day in port and Henry promptly picked us up at the terminal in a comfortable van for the ~30 minute ride from Keelung to Taipei. Henry provided excellent commentary and guidance to the many sites we visited. His knowledge of the best photo spots and unique features of the area made our day feel special. We customized the stops based on our time and choices, and enjoyed a delicious lunch at our favorite restaurant. Henry even indulged us with our request for a quick stop at Costco! Our day was well organized and fun. Can absolutely 100% recommend booking this tour and hope to return soon. Thanks Henry!
Terrible Guide - Bad Experience

1.00Our guide was basicly a driver, NOT A GUIDE. No information was provided until after our complaint to Viator for a refund after the second location. Our first stop was National Museum where we were told to buy tickets for a tour that we waited another 30 min to start. After about 90 minutes on the tour, I asked her several times when it would be over. Response was soon. After a little over 2 hours we decided to leave since now 3 hours transpired and we had many more stops to see. The next stop was Chiag Kai-Shek memorial. We we left off at the back entrance and told to go up and look around. Upon leaving we realized that we did not see part of the venue and now rushed to the next stop. The third stop was the War Memorial seeing some guards, when i ask the guide if there was a ceremony "Changing Of The Guards" she said no. When I asked another visitor if they knew, if there was a Changing of the Guards, they said 5 minutes. As said, NOT A GUIDE. Enough said about a bad guide. The provider said the employee did their job, so Viator refused even a partial credit. IF YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT TAIPEI, SKIP THIS TOUR!
Best full day custom Taipei tour with Vincent

5.00We had the best experience with our tour guide Vincent Hsu. We dipped our feet in a hot spring in Beitou and visited the volcano. Lunch was at a local restaurant for the best beef noodle soup. Then, off to other tourist spots around the city. It’s custom so plan it out with Vincent and he’ll make the most of it for you. We ended it with the changing of the guards at the Memorial and Boba Tea, sausages, and meat buns after. All in all a wonderful tour with a knowledgeable guide, clean and air conditioned van, and lots of laughs. You will not be disappointed!

5.00Sean Wang was my tour guide. He was wonderful! Very professional and knowledgeable about the history of Taipei and Taiwan.He was very accommodating with the schedule and the places I wanted to go and see. It was a very enjoyable tour.

5.00I recently went on the “Full-Day Private Custom Taipei City Tour” with Steven Huang. I had such an amazing time! He was punctual, picked me up from my hotel in Taipei, and had a bottle of water prepared for me. Steven was very accommodating, making sure that I got to choose what sights I wanted to see. He was also extremely organized and efficient. We were able to visit an attraction in Shifen outside of Taipei, so I was very thankful that he took the liberty of offering to drive further out. I had such a great time trying tasty street food and enjoying some wonderful scenery such as a grand waterfalls. This will be an experience I never forget!
