We were lucky enough to have Suele as our driver. Such a polite and patient person who has a lifetime of experience on Santo and was willing to go out of his way to explain and articulate whenever we had a question. He genuinely wanted to make our tour engaging a valuable experience

Champagne Beach is quiet and the water is very clear, making it the perfect place to relax after lunch. Just sitting in the ocean and staring at the white sand is enough to satisfy you. There are showers and toilets too. Lunch in Port Olry is the best. Vanuatu beef is 100% organic. This beach also has beautiful water and sand. There are three blue balls. The most recommended is Lily Blue Hole, which you can go to by canoe. It's worth going there for the canoe experience.

We enjoyed this tour but the tour operator was late and we had to chase them up on the telephone. It seems the local tour operator only notified the guide the night prior and he had to skip his normal work to take us. The trip was supposed to include entry fees but the local guide had insufficient cash to cover it. Also no complementary fruit was supplied. An expensive trip that could have been done for less than half the price by booking once we got there.

Brendan was our guide, he was so friendly, accommodating and considerate. An extremely safe driver. Went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. The tour was a lovely day out visiting beautiful beaches and the famous and stunning nanda blue hole. Lunch at port Olay was delicious. A great tour, would recommend.

Aaron was an incredible guide, very funny & full of knowledge. We learned a lot from him and he went out of his way to provide other mini experiences along the way for us. He deserves 5 stars. But we found it was extremely overpriced (almost 3 x more expensive than other local options). Your accommodation will most likely be able to provide you with a driver for the day who can take you to all the highlights for a third of the price of this tour.

The tour was guided by driver Jeremy who knew the area and its history (WW2) fairly well .The first Blue Hole (Matevulu) was big but there was a lot of mosquitos around so we did not stay long.Champagne Beach was the next stop, and the swimming time,it is really beautiful when you have a clear blue sky above and the sea the colour of turquoise and of course the swimming is safe. Also on the beach there is an eatery and bar plus locals selling their wares.Port Olry was the next stop for lunch, the restaurant Chez Louie is best to avoided."jackies" blue hole is a must to swim in do not go past you will be blown away by the place, there is also a cafe on site.

This was the best experience we have had out of all the islands we visited during our Voyager of the Seas cruise in mid January. Our tour guide, Judisson, was the most amazing and genuine person, and we really hope we will get to tour with him again whenever we return to Santo Island. I'm usually not one to write extensive reviews, but this tour really deserves it. Our cruise was originally meant to go to Isle of Pines but due to the unfortunate passing of the island chief there as well as some rough weather, the cruise had to make a late minute change to Luganville on Jan 17. We had no idea what to expect and just booked this tour on a whim as I previously heard of Atmosphere Tours. It ended up being very memorable for us. Thank you so much to Judisson for being so accommodating and entertaining for the 8 hours. We met him near the cruise wharf in the morning and found out it was just the two of us with him. We were able to take as much time as we wanted at Jackie's Blue Hole (Nanda Blue Hole), Champagne Beach, Port Orly and Million Dollar Point. It truly felt like a very personal experience. He was very informative about Vanuatu, Santo Island itself, each of the destinations we were heading to, and he was never seen without a huge smile. It was entertaining hearing about how much he loved kava and he promised that we would not leave without trying it. Even though my partner and I had spent alot longer at each destination than what is prescribed in the tour list, Judisson managed to surprise us by taking us to a secret location that belonged to his family side. It was very peaceful and beautiful, but I will leave this unnamed, out of respect. We also managed to end the day, driving by a local stall, which had the kava (which was quite interesting drink and made our tongues and throats tingle) that Judisson revered about, as well as some local nuts (very crunchy and delicious), before we returned back to the cruise ship just in time. We were appreciative of how friendly the locals were and how much it felt like a community. Our guide seemed to be friends with almost all the locals on the island, beeping at each local along the way to say hi. During our ride to Million Dollar Point, it was raining very heavily and he picked up a local he knew, who was walking along the long strip of road in the rain, which we thought was very thoughtful. The local accompanied us for the remainder of the trip and even paid for our kava. Santo Island was an island that we thought we would just visit once off and never come back but after this tour, we now know we'll definitely try to come back in future.
