5.00Amazing experience visiting beautiful northern Tunisia and getting a very professional, imersive, and in depth tour from the guide and driver, Bashir ( hope I've spelt his name correctly). 5.00Mohammed Ali was the best driver one could have for such a tour. He was friendly, informative cooperative and patient. He went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and that I could see as much as possible in one day. He recommended a great restaurant for my lunch. He never took me to any of the usual tourist traps. He was polite and kind with a great sense of humour. I enjoyed the day that much more, thanks to Mohammed!

Best way to visit the Bardo museum from Sousse

5.005 Star We stayed in Sousse but I really wanted to visit the Bardo museum . After researching the hassle and infrequency of trains and cost of a taxi we decided to book this trip and I'm glad we did, we had our own private car and driver, Bechir who was happily to stop where we wanted and allowed us over 2 hours in the Bardo (I could have stayed longer but I don't think my sister would have liked to!). Our driver, Bechir was friendly, but not intrusive. He was on time, and happy to adjust the itinerary to suit us. Unfortunately the museum with the mosaics at the Carthage archeology site is currently closed.

5.00We were greeted by a friendly Aymen, our fantastic driver for the day. We started in the Medina, and Aymen guided us all the way. The hustle and bustle was an amazing experience for us. People were so friendly and the Medina was abuzz. Our tour was made memorable and we are super grateful to have had a local driver who was patient and kind. If I come back to Tunis, I will specifically ask for Aymen, he was truly a gentleman and helped us so much.

1.00Beware of Simba fun travel? The driver we had just pointed out locations and stopped at them. At every corner someone was trying to scam us for money. At one point we stopped at the Carthage ruins and when we pulled up to the location the driver greeted $225a shop keeper. The shop keeper said come to my shop after you check out the sites. We checked out the sites and followed his direction. We picked out two plates and he said he would give us a good deal for them. Before he shared pricing info he told me to pick out a couple magnets. When I did e trunk was he had my wif scan her card and charged her $225 eu for two plates that you could purchase at the cruise terminal for $10 eu. I did not know my wife paid an exhorbadent amount. When we got in the car I watched the shop keeper car some money behind the car where the trunk was open. He closed the trunk and put the money in there. Seems like these guys are scamming people for money and rewarding one another. The driver drove very dangerously through the city and we felt very unsafe as he was cutting in and out of traffic with cars honking at him and making hand gestures. We were happy to have made it back. The only good part of the trip was seeing the sites in Carthage. The we site asle lists that you have to pay a $37 port fee in the exclusions. The driver paid $15 eu.
