Special dietary requests can be accommodated with 24 hours advanced notice. Our tour partners do their best to accommodate most dietary requests but please keep in mind that alternative food options may not be up to par to original tastings. Cross contamination are always a possibility and tour company cannot take responsibility for any possible reactions. NOTE: We are unable to accept bookings for children under 19 with severe food allergies eg. nut allergy etc.

Tour is approx 2:5-3 hours long and covers approx. 5 blocks. 5 of the stops are sit down. Tour is on a schedule, although slower paced as tour guides stop during tour to show interesting points of interest in the neighbourhood.

Please arrive hungry and dress for the weather. Tour operates rain or shine. Vancouver tends to get a lot of rain October-April so please bring an umbrella or rain jacket and wear comfortable shoes.

There are 3 stops with stairs and only one has an elevator. If you have restricted mobility issues the tour may not be suitable for you.

Persons under the age of 19 must be accompanied by an adult

Family friendly (note that tour cannot accommodate strollers due to smaller venues and stairs)

We were two families with teenagers who were stopping over in Vancouver on our way to the ski mountain. It was perfect way to spend an afternoon - even one which was a bit rainy. The food choices were varied and good (we would go back to them again) and everyone could appreciate the history of the city more by having a walk around and shaking off the jetlag. Our host Rachel was fun and accommodating.

Really good few hours being shown the sights and the local restaurants. Our guide was really knowledgeable and entertaining. Only knocked down a point as felt a bit rushed in first 2 restaurants/pubs. We did 7 in total. Great day.

Andrea was very informative and friendly. She made it feel as she was a friend showing us the area - and the food choices were great! The rain did not slow us down in the least from enjoining the afternoon.

Rachel was our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable, energetic and entertaining. But the food stops were a bit disappointing. Our group liked the beer and cider at the Steamworks. The second stop at the Izakaya the fried chicken was a bit bland and there was no drink, not even water. Next was a French restaurant Petricor where they served cheesy mashed potatoes with sausage. Sausage was good but potatoes were not special. White wine was enjoyed but red wine nothing special. Next we went to Six Acres bar and had poutine. Poutine was ok and beer was not exciting. The mocktail was good. Next we went to Italian restaurant Brioche. We had a pasta dish and wine. Both the pasta and wine were very good. For desert we went fresh ice cream place where we had white ice cream with strawberry syrup. Some had hazelnut chocolate ice cream. Group liked chocolate but white was a bit bland. Last we went to a waffle place. Nothing special. All portions were small compared to other food tours we have taken.

Rachel was an absolutely astounding guide and gave great insight to the area and awesome additional recommendations when asked! She was the best we could’ve asked for, we hear she’s much better than Sean. Very accommodating of dietary restrictions and preferences. We did this on the last day of our trip but strongly advise on the first day so you can find good spots to visit the rest of your time in Vancouver!

This tour was amazing! It almost didn’t happen as I was the only one who booked it but given that I was flying how the next day, they rallied and made it came together. Sean was an amazing guide on my personal food tour. He was incredibly knowledgeable about Vancouver, every place we stopped along the way, and helped with a little non-tour knowledge (like answering travel-related questions to help with flying out of Vancouver airport). The food was THE BEST. The drinks were fantastic. I’ve been to Vancouver quite a few times and every stop was new to me. I cannot recommend this tour enough. And if you’re lucky enough to land Sean as your tour guide, you’re in for a treat! He also had great recs on future tours and other great local places to check out before I left town. 10/10. Highly recommend!
