Special dietary requests can be accommodated with 24 hours advanced notice. Our tour partners do their best to accommodate most dietary requests but please keep in mind that alternative food options may not be up to par to original tastings. Cross contamination are always a possibility and tour company cannot take responsibility for any possible reactions. NOTE: We are unable to accept bookings for children under 19 with severe food allergies eg. nut allergy etc.
Tour is approx 2:5-3 hours long and covers approx. 5 blocks. 5 of the stops are sit down. Tour is on a schedule, although slower paced as tour guides stop during tour to show interesting points of interest in the neighbourhood.
Please arrive hungry and dress for the weather. Tour operates rain or shine. Vancouver tends to get a lot of rain October-April so please bring an umbrella or rain jacket and wear comfortable shoes.
There are 3 stops with stairs and only one has an elevator. If you have restricted mobility issues the tour may not be suitable for you.
Persons under the age of 19 must be accompanied by an adult
Family friendly (note that tour cannot accommodate strollers due to smaller venues and stairs)

5.00Rachel was an absolutely astounding guide and gave great insight to the area and awesome additional recommendations when asked! She was the best we could’ve asked for, we hear she’s much better than Sean. Very accommodating of dietary restrictions and preferences. We did this on the last day of our trip but strongly advise on the first day so you can find good spots to visit the rest of your time in Vancouver!

5.00This tour was amazing! It almost didn’t happen as I was the only one who booked it but given that I was flying how the next day, they rallied and made it came together. Sean was an amazing guide on my personal food tour. He was incredibly knowledgeable about Vancouver, every place we stopped along the way, and helped with a little non-tour knowledge (like answering travel-related questions to help with flying out of Vancouver airport). The food was THE BEST. The drinks were fantastic. I’ve been to Vancouver quite a few times and every stop was new to me. I cannot recommend this tour enough. And if you’re lucky enough to land Sean as your tour guide, you’re in for a treat! He also had great recs on future tours and other great local places to check out before I left town. 10/10. Highly recommend!

5.00We did the Gastown walking food tour and had Connor as our guide. The tour is an excellent way to try the amazing variety of restaurants in Gastown but Connor’s knowledge about the food, drinks and the history of Gastown and Vancouver made the trip even better. Connor helped us understand the chequered past of Vancouver and how people feel about that today. An excellent way to explore Gastown in Vancouver

5.00A wonderful way to try different cuisines in the Gastown area and learn about this area’s history. The foods included Japanese chicken karaage, Norwegian waffles, French potatoe dish, Italian pasta and more. We also got some alcoholic drinks as a part of the meals, either a local brewed beer or a locally sourced wine. Of course there are nonalcoholic choices too. In addition we ended up going to one of the restaurants the following day for dinner. We really enjoyed our tour guide, Connor. Great choice for 3 hours in Vancouver.

5.00Connor was an excellent tour guide. He gave us just the right amount of history to keep us engaged. All the places we visited were worth getting to know about. The food was the right amount and tasted great. I’d recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting Vancouver. It gives you a good feel of this part of the city.

5.00This was an awesome experience. I would highly recommend doing this at the beginning of your time in Vancouver, so you can go back and visit your favorite spots on the tour! It was a great way to get exposure to a variety of places and foods, and also get a history lesson along the way. Our guide was knowledgeable and fun.
