Decent enough if you know what your booking. This isn't a factual tour or ghost hunt but good entertainment

4.00We booked this when in York for our anniversary. We kind of knew what to expect, this isn't a serious ghost tour, more of an entertaining way to spend an hour. Actors very good despite some passengers who just didn't want to be there and were making things difficult (wish they'd just have got off!) We went on a wet windy winter night so visibility not great, bus is an old 60s routemaster so its a bit damp and noisy but that adds to the experience. Sound system not the best but we could just about hear everything. its a bit of a laugh and something to do, don't expect a serious ghost hunt and just enjoy it for what it is.

1.00Our work Christmas get together. The trip itself is a huge let down. We had heard great things and thought it would be a funny and alternative way to have our Christmas ‘party’ it was simply awful! Couldn’t see anything, couldn’t hear anything. Don’t bother going, spend your money on all the other wonderful things there are to do in York.

4.00Whole booking experience 10/10 - easy to find in York too! The actual experience was great - more comedy than storytelling but definitely a must do in York - non stopped laughed throughout. If looking for more scary tours - a walking one is probably more fit. However cannot fault our guide Frank-Stein - HILARIOUS!!

5.00It was a fun experience for all the family (2 children ages 12 and 10). We all had a giggle and after doing ghost walks previously it was a nice way of doing it that made it different. Our guide was great, very funny and engaging. Boo-is was adorable!

5.00A great experience, a lovely old bus made to look Atmospheric, a bus driver ,Bob,with a skull mask on,and John who was excellent with his knowledge and his witty remarks and audience participation, we throughly enjoyed the Ghost bus tour and highly recommend. We could only get the late tour at 9pm and you might not see all the places pointed out as its dark.

4.00This was a bit of fun for myself, husband and two teen daughters. Husband and I had done the one in Edinburgh but this wasn’t as good. The Edinburgh stories were better and the actor playing the conductor was more engaging. The bus looks great and the atmosphere is scary with dry ice and low lighting. The stories were not as scary though and the effects were better in Edinburgh. Not bad but could be improved with better delivery of the stories.

5.00The tour was very entertaining. Not as good an Edinburgh’s version but still very good. I definitely try another Ghost bus tour in the future.
