Experience an indulgent and diverse full day tour showcasing the very best sights and tastes from the Central Otago region. Let your experienced wine guide lead you on a tasting journey through three contrasting Central Otago wine sub-regions; Gibbston, Bannockburn and Cromwell.

Enjoy a guided tour through New Zealand’s largest underground wine cave and savour a unique lunch with 5 dishes cooked in retired oak barrels and perfectly matched with 5 wines.

You will also have an opportunity to retrace history with a visit to the historical settlements of Arrowtown, and Old Cromwell (when time permits). Learn about the early pioneering history and how the wine region was formed through an array of fun facts and interesting stories from your knowledgeable wine guide.

At the end of your tour you will be returned to your accommodation.

We did the Gourmet Food and Wine tour. There were 11 of us on the trip, door to door service…visited 4 vineyards and had a gourmet lunch ( venison, beef& goat ragout, duck, pork, and salmon wings) with each course paired with a wine. All fabulous. In addition, we stopped in Arrowtown for a 30 minute look-see (great coffee at Coffee Roasters). John our driver was great, wry sense of humor and very funny, and attentive. He serve as a true tour guide, giving us the history of the area. 9-4:30pm. Great day. Well work it.

For different vineyards visited, all with their own wines, and some history and information. The third vineyard provided a delicious lunch with the wine, and a cheese board at the fourth. Between that, there's a drive through the beautiful area. It driver Jimmy was a very competent driver, and had some interesting facts and funny comments on wine and the general area. For the price, it's a well filled day with plenty of tasty wines and good food. Highly recommended!

This was a unique and enjoyable wine tour starting with a tour and tasting in a wine cave! The lunch at The Stoaker room was very unique. All of the wineries were super friendly and had great wine! Our tour guide Donna was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. I highly recommend!
This is a must whilst in Queenstown!

Everything about this trip is excellent. The steamship, the views, the food and the show! It is very memorable and we have the photos to prove it.

Great day and great tour! The wine tasting was very informative and the food was excellent. Thanks also to tour leader Craig for sharing his local knowledge and safe driving. We were lucky to have a great group of people with us on the tour - it made the day alot of fun!

From start to finish, our driver knew lots about history and area and the wineries. The wineries themselves were great and wine tasting was very well done. The barrel cooked lunch was so delicious and highlight of the tour.I liked they had the wine and food aligned to compliment each other.All 4 winery had incredible whites and red wines .I would do this tour again if I come back to Queenstown. It's so good.
And the wine was good too!

We had a great time with John driving to 4 wineries and seeing much more. His stories and colorful commentary along the trip made it much more personal. Well worth the 6+ hour trip thru an incredible valley.
