Make your own way to Grand Canyon West and explore one of the world’s most breathtaking natural wonders from multiple scenic viewpoints, including Eagle Point and Guano Point. Take in panoramic canyon vistas, walk the Skywalk, fly on the zipline and immerse yourself in the rich culture of the Hualapai Tribe. Important Note: The last admission ticket is sold at 4:45 p.m. from March to November, with times adjusting seasonally. Arizona does not observe Daylight Saving Time—so during winter, Grand Canyon West operates on Mountain Standard Time (1 hour ahead of Nevada and California), while in summer months, it aligns with Pacific Time.

Grand Canyon Skywalk

This 10-foot wide, horseshoe-shaped glass bridge extends 70 feet out over the rim of the Grand Canyon. Look down and you can see right through the glass platform 4,000 feet to the floor of the Canyon below. This engineering marvel offers unparalleled views of one of the world’s Seven Natural Wonders. Nervous about walking on glass almost a mile above the floor of the Grand Canyon? Have no fear—the Skywalk is strong enough to hold seventy fully loaded 747 passenger jets. Driving to west rim is a little bothersome, but well worth the effort. We've been to south rim, also north and east, but this is easily the best views of the Grand Canyon. Buses take you to locations and drivers give insight, guano point (wow), and skywalk is awesome. On the way is the Joshua Tree Forest. Nice gift shops and restaurants also. Be aware however, Viator charged me $221.00 for this excursion and upon arrival; we could have purchased the exact same packaged for much less. ($158.00 plus tax) at the location. Not really happy with Viator, second time this has happened.
Avoid coming here it’s worth doing the extra drive to the South Rim

Avoid coming here make the extra drive to the South Rim/Grand Canyon National Park. The customer Service is Horrible here the security and staff are very rude and discourteous and it’s really expensive to do everything as a tour operator every time I come here there a new rule or you have to pay to do something

When you arrive, do the zip line first. They don’t tell you this when you buy the ticket, but it closes at 3pm. So by the time you board the bus, do the rim, board the bus again, go to the next stop and even do a short walk around, and board the bus again, and then get to the zip line area, you’re too late. They don’t tell you that it closes early and they don’t tell you to do that first knowing you’ll miss it by the time you get back (we had to wait for 4 buses to load to get from one stop to the other…lots of time waiting). And if you miss it, you miss it. I wished they just sold tix to the skywalk & zip line separately. I questioned the girl at the counter and she said “did you buy the tickets here?” I said “yes and no one said anything about the zip line closing at 3”. To which she replied “I’m sure someone told you”. No they did not!

If driving arrive B4 11 am to avoid long lines. Definitely do the skywalk. Zipline is a great option but expect a long wait. Recommend arriving B4 3 pm.

If you want a good experience I advise you to go to the north or south rim, this point of the canyon belongs to the natives and they offer a horrible service, they have a terrible customer service, they treat you badly despite charging you everything above the normal prices, the food is horrible I would say disgusting and super expensive. If you don't want to waste your money and ruin your vacation, don't go to the West Rim Canyon

Don't be fooled—the West Rim is a massive cash grab. While the South Rim charges a flat fee per vehicle parking ($35), the West Rim hits you with a staggering $99 per person. For that price, you'd expect a premium experience, but it’s underwhelming compared to the National Park. Even their "discounts" are misleading; the $10 credit they give you requires a $20 minimum spend. It’s a trick to get you to spend even more money on basic snacks like ice cream. If you want the real Grand Canyon experience without the predatory pricing, stick to the South Rim.

It's the Grand Canyon, so it's probably still great for people who've never been. That said, PLEASE do yourself a favor and drive to literally any other entry point. This is a money grab, and the most heavily policed disappointment of a 2 hour excursion. It felt like Grand Canyon Disney, and not in a good way. I was willing to pay the money because I understand the Indian reservation owns the property and respect their ability to determine access, but yikes. You're herded onto busses. Then herded through lines to see things where you are told where you can and cannot go, what you can and cannot see and carry with you, and everything is about 3x more expensive than it should be. We went in February, so it must be bonkers during heavy tourism times. Also, if it's possible for the Grand Canyon to look shallow and not at all "grand"...they've found the spot. LOL. Enter anywhere else, stand anywhere else, and you'll pay less, feel less hurried, and actually be able to appreciate the grandeur of this stunning wonder of the world. You'll find privacy, have time to soak it in, and there are so many helpful guides and rangers to give you assistance and tell interesting stories--you won't regret it.

Skywalk views extraordinary! Enjoyed looking at ruins and tribal dance entertainment. Sky view restaurant views very pretty. Gift shop merchandise low and some restaurants and zip line not open.

It was a nice tour. You basically go at your own pace. We drove there & caught the shuttle to the different locations. They didn’t say enough about the tribal dancers at eagle point in a building off to the left so we found it ourselves. But beautiful views & good food & jewelry & friendly staff throughout

Great experience for everything that we did - overnight in the cabins; breakfast at the onsite café; (the breakfast burrito was large and filling, the breakfast platter was large , and bottomless coffee); Skywalk (not as frightening as it could have been, hut if you are a photographer , you cannot take you own photos – but there are photographers available to capture those moments for you); and Grand Canyon views ( get in line for the bus to the Skywalk and two other stops; we decided to see what each one stop offered so went to the last one, and it was good to be able to get another shuttle back relatively quickly.) There is a lot to see even if you don't do the Skywalk. Very pretty area and interesting exhibits and demonstrations.
