Our signature flightseeing and glacier landing tour, includes 30 mins of flightseeing and 30 mins landed at 3 Glacier areas including on the glacier itself. This tour includes an alpine landing where you will have 30 mins to see the grand size of the 5 mile wide and 29 mile long Knik Glacier with a birds eye view. Your 2nd landing takes you to a 100 foot ice wall where you may even be able to see the massive ice calve . After 30 minutes exploring you go to the glacier landing right in the middle of Knik Glacier, where you can get out of the helicopter and spend about 30 minutes exploring ancient ice. See the azure blue melt pools (summer), crevasses and ice formations created by water, wind and the sun. During your flight seeing, keep your eyes open for the area wildlife to include Moose, Mountain Goats, Dall Sheep, Bears and even wolf on occasion!

CHECK IN is 45 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. If you arrive late, your tour may be shortened or rescheduled and additional cost may be applicable.
WINTER TOURS - October - April -we are unable to land on top of the glacier due to snow cover. We will land next to the glaciers near the massive ice formations
Guests 300lbs or over require our Astar Helicopter to fly. This is not available for every time/day.Please call direct to assure we have that helicopter available to accommodate prior to booking.
Comfort surcharge applied for anyone over 250lbs. This allows us to block out an additional seat for safety and comfort
NOT PERMITTED: DRONES-SMOKING ITEMS (VAPES/LIGHTERS/E-CIG)-FIREARMS-BAGS/BACKPACKS/LOOSE STRAPS - please leave all bags in the vehicle or we do have lockers to store them

5.00This was the most exciting tour ever! There was only 4 of us and the pilot, who was very knowledgeable and easy to listen to. There was so much to learn about glaciers! They are so beautiful! It's so hard to describe! My husband even got to sit in the front with the pilot! Dream come true! You gotta do it!

5.00No need to be nervous if you’re a first timer. Take offs and landings were very smooth. Wyatt was a great pilot, the experience was AMAZING!! A must do in the Anchorage area!!

5.00My husband and I went on the Grand Knik Helicopter Tour. It was amazing. It was my first time in a helicopter. The views were spectacular and our pilot, Kyle had the best balance of giving us interesting information about what we were seeing and not talking too much so we could just take it all in. Riding in the helicopter was so cool-such good visibility- it felt like riding on a dragonfly! I was amazed at all three of our landings. They were all so beautiful and we got to get out at each one. The staff there were all very professional and nice. Safety seemed of utmost importance. I am hoping I can bring some more of my family for a summer tour.
Grand experience in our 50th state together.

5.00This trip was amazing. Everyone we encountered was great. We spoke with Izzy on the phone and then met her at the heloport and she was so helpful and knowledgeable. Trudy was our shuttle driver and she was so fun. Very friendly and filled us in on details about the area and helped us find a moose! Kyle was our pilot for the trip. He was fabulous. He was joyful and so informative. You could definitely tell he loves his job! We made 3 landings on the glaciers (I even got to make a snow angel on a glacier!!) and saw all the jaw-dropping scenery. Thanks to all we encountered, we would highly recommend this company and tour.
Dylan was an amazing guide - five star experience all around! Well worth every penny - everything was perfect.

5.00We had an amazing time, and it was the best experience on a helicopter. The tour was the highlight of our time in Anchorage. Everything was perfect - the flight, landings, and views. The pilot was excellent, friendly, so informative, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend. The driver for pickup is polite and knowledgeable too, he talked about interesting facts of Ancohrage on the way.

Brian was a wonderful guide and an exceptional helicopter pilot who made safety his top priority while ensuring we had an unforgettable ride. He was very knowledgeable and shared fascinating information about the glaciers and Lake George, which made the experience even more meaningful.
