Leh

Book your flights to and from Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport (IXL) Leh, Ladakh, India. Upon arrival in Leh, the Traverse Adventure Tours team will receive you at the airport and take you to the hotel. On the very first day, you will have a rest day in Leh City to get acclimated to the high altitude.

Leh

You will get your motorbikes and have a small ride in the hills with some monastery visits and a ride briefing session. In the evening, you will have free time and stay for the night in a hotel.

Shey Monastery

A stone's throw from Leh, Shey Monastery and Palace is best known for the three-storey statue of Buddha Shakyamuni. Made of copper, the statue is said to be a one-of-a-kind structure in the region. The palace complex is sprinkled with many Buddhist chortens.

Thiksey Monastery

Apart from being the largest monastery of Central Ladakh, the monastery is also famous for its 49 ft tall statue of Maitreya Buddha in the lotus position, covering two floors of the monastery. The statue was built to commemorate the 14th Dalai Lama's visit to Thiksey Monastery in the year 1970.

Lamayuru Monastery (Yuru Gompa)

Lamayuru has the appearance of a cave monastery with a moonlike landscape. Lamayuru consists of 5 buildings, the structure is in ruins today. The annual festival known as Yuru Kabgyat is the major attraction of the monastery. Mask dance by the lamas is the highlight of the festival.

Namika La is a high mountain pass in the Zaskar Range of the Himalayas in Ladakh, India, at an elevation of 3,700 m or 12,139 ft.[1] It is traversed by the Srinagar-Leh highway.

Fotu La Pass

Fotu La or Fatu La is a mountain pass on the Srinagar-Leh highway in the Zanskar Range of the Himalayas in India. At an elevation of 4,108 meters (13,478 ft), it is the highest point on the highway, surpassing the famed Zoji La.

Suru Valley

At a distance of 40kms from Kargil town Suru Valley is a beautiful destination with a green landscape and dense plantation and is also the base for a day trek to Shargole via Rusilla and Sapi and a day pleasure trek to Drass via Umballa. Famous for the nearby Bamiyan Type Rock statue.

Parachik Glacier is a mountain glacier in Kargil, Ladakh, India. Parkachik Glacier, located at Parkachik, is a mass of ice moving slowly down the Nun-Kun slopes. This ice mass falls finally into the Suru River, providing views of the huge icefall

Drang-Drung Glacier

The Drang-Drung Glacier is the largest in Ladakh other than the Siachen Glacier in the Karakoram Range with a maximum length of 23 kilometers and an average elevation of 4,780 m.

Pensi-la is a mountain pass in the Ladakh union territory of India, which is known as the Gateway to Zanskar. Pensi La is 4,400 meters above sea level and connects the Suru Valley region to the Zanskar Valley region.

Singe La Pass, perched at around 5,050 meters (16,570 feet), is a breathtaking high-altitude pass on the trek from Padum to Lamayuru in the Zanskar region. Hunder Sand Dunes

Chumathang Hot Spring

Chumathang is a small village in the Leh District of Ladakh, India, located on the banks of the Indus River. The village is known for its hot sulfur springs that bubble up from the ground near the river.
