Duck Brook Bridge
Your tour will begin at Hull's Cove Visitor Center, where you will climb up Paradise Hill to enjoy a stunning view of Bar Harbor, Porcupine Island, and Frenchman's Bay. Next, you will proceed towards the east end of Witch Hole Pond, until you reach Duck Brook Bridge. This section of the Carriage Roads spans over 2.5 miles, and there is a restroom available at this location.
Eagle Lake Acadia National Park
Once we pass the Duck Brook Bridge, our tour operator usually takes a break at a beaver pond where we can observe a large community of the rodents actively working on their house and dam. After that, we continue our journey towards Eagle Lake, where we head down the west side of the lake. The distance between Duck Brook bridge and the south end of Eagle Lake is 4 miles.

This tour was great fun but involves a lot of stopping and getting off the bike. Consider the unguided tour if you really want to cruise.

All around great activity and Merrill was fantastic with deep knowledge of the park and its history. About 4.5 - 5 hour trip and it was super.

4 hour trip with guide - who stopped us often at various spots along the route to point out landmarks and views. Easy ride, and all on carriage paths/ not city streets with traffic (only a couple of times, we crossed over roadways inside Acadia park where we had to watch for cars - like at Jordan pond parking lot). Tour company gave instruction session for using the bikes, provided bike pack for some small items to bring along- wallet, keys, granola bar, etc. and tour provided water bottles too Fun day!
