5.00Wonderful historic tour of the Chateau Frontenac done by excellent guides dressed in period costumes. We learned about the history of Quebec City and how the Chateau came to be and evolved over the decades. Inside tour of the Fairmont Hotel was fantastic too! Wish the tour was longer as it was super interesting and informative.

3.00It is interesting but hard to hear outside with music playing. Main lobby too much commotion, lad vacuuming in her store in middle of day. Would have been nice to see a room.

5.00Although we arrived late ,the guide welcomed us without problems and the team helped us find our guide also. The tour was interesting , we learned a lot of information about the history of Quebec which was previously unknown to us! Visiting several different rooms of the castle was great fun!The guide was dynamic and friendly.
Even our teenager loved this. Don’t miss out!

5.00Had a blast! We went in the summer (smack in the middle of a heat wave), so starting outside was… toasty. Thankfully, we moved indoors pretty quickly, and wow. Just wow. The interiors are stunning. Pro tip: look up. The ceilings alone are worth the ticket price. As we wandered through, soaking in the decor, our guide wove in the hotel’s rich history and the roster of famous guests who’ve stayed there. Turns out, some pretty big world events were shaped within those walls. The tour itself is informative and fun. And our guide was an absolute gem: friendly, funny, and knew his stuff. My husband and I think he could double for Geoffrey Rush, which made it even easier to picture him as Louis de Buade, Comte de Frontenac et de Palluau, the hotel’s namesake. This place is a must-see, and this tour is the way to see it.
