  We booked this tour primarily because of the railway market in Mae Klong. We were excited to arrive on the train, spend time in the market itself, and see the train leave the market while we sit right next to it. The itinerary on Viator advertises spending around 40 minutes in the market. So we were quite shocked and angry that we barely spent 5 minutes physically in Mae Klong. As soon as we got off the train, we only had a few minutes to take photos before we were briskly ushered away from the market and into the van to drive us to the floating market. We were particularly annoyed because other groups in the same tour got much more time at the railway market. It was a disappointing start to our day to say the least... Would not recommend.

  It was awesome. From the start Mr. Aekaphol was really informative, pleasant and attentive. The experience of the train, railway market and floating market was unforgettable. Towards the end of our tour while in the floating market, everything started shaking. My friend and I thought it was because we were close to the water, to later find out it was an earthquake. After the tour they were going to drop everyone off to the train station for everyone to go on their own from there, but everything was chaos because of the earthquake. Traffic completely jammed not moving at all and the trains stopped working. We had no idea what to do to get to our hotel, but Aekaphol stayed with us to help us figure out on how to get to the hotel. After he asking around (thankfully cuz we don’t speak Thai), tried ordering cabs and nothing, he suggested for us to walk to our hotel, so we had no choice but to walk (which took us 2hrs), but Aekaphol didn’t leave us hanging and tried to help us out, mind you he himself didn’t know how he was getting home either and was way farther from home. We truly and wholeheartedly appreciate him not only as a tour guide but as person.

  This was a really fun day! Our guide Wit was so knowledgeable and fun to spend time with. The train market is unlike anything ever seen! Defiantly recommend this!

  I really enjoyed the day, though it’s definitely more of a full day than half day. Both stops are very tourist driven but great fun anyway and a unique experience. Note that although hotel pick is provided in the morning, drop off at hotel on way back isn’t included. Aekaphol was a good guide and very helpful, although I will say he did push some products on us. I asked for directions to the toilet and was first taken via a stall at the market and felt pressured into buying something I really didn’t want, so just e mindful of that.
