5.00When planning our trip to Rome, a friend recommended we book a golf cart tour, and we are certainly glad we took their advice! In this sprawling busy city, with so much to see and do, a golf cart tour is a great way to see a lot in a short period of time, as well as learn a lot from those who know it best. Eva, our guide, certainly lived up to our expectations. Originally from France, she spoke quite passionately not only about Rome, its history, culture and sights, but also gave us a few insights into her personal experience as a (now) citizen of Rome. She took us by many of the "highlights" of Rome including the Coliseum, the Parthenon, Circus Maximus,and the Trevi Fountain, as well as a spectacular hilltop view of St. Peter's. At each place, she provided insight and history which made what we were experiencing even more meaningful. Other highlights of Eva's tour included the "nasoni" (public drinking fountains) as well as some out-of-this-world gelato. This tour is a great way to spend a few hours getting to know Rome a bit better. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

5.00Eva, our guide was excellent in many ways: a good driver, bringing us to locations we had not seen yet, good at giving us history of different sights and encouraging us to visit some of the churches/parks we met along the way and why these were of special interest. It is a good way to see some of the sights you would not otherwise have seen unless you walked right to them. The visit was a solid 3+ hours with comfortable seating. Eva made sure we were well buckled up in our seat. The golf cart allowed us to use both large thoroughfares but small street that are not available to larger vehicle. The vehicle is small enough to be park close to sights. It turned out to be a favorite by the 4 of us travelling on the Golf Cart. We found that it was a great way to travel to sights we had not booked a tour for and see things that otherwise we would have skipped. It is also a good way to have a tour if you are slightly less mobile and cannot spend hours on your feet.

5.00This tour has a little for everyone! I suggest to do the night tour so lets people in the sights. I did it with my 75 year old mom and we both loved it. Been to rome many times but this was definitely different!
