Meet your guide at the base of the Waiau Ferry Bridge in Hanmer Springs. You'll receive overalls, boots, and a helmet in addition to a safety briefing. Get instruction and practice operating your quad bike with automatic or manual transmission. Embark on an exhilarating and rugged ride. The adventurous, family-friendly route lets you drive, or ride, on a two-seater in conditions according to your skill level, but expect to get wet while crossing riverbeds and muddy farmland trails. 5.00We are in our mid 60's and really enjoyed the quad bikes. After a practice track to give us confidence we set off on an amazing trek through forest, stream gulleys and crossed rivers. Stopped by a river for water and a cookie. Helmets and wellibgton boots are provided. Coveralls can be provided if you want but it was a sunny day so we drove in shorts and T shirt.
Took all the fun out of quad biking

1.00Not impressed with the instructor we had, riding too slow and constantly checking on us to make sure we weren’t having any fun. He needs to chill and make sure paying customers are enjoying themselves…

5.00This was just the best fun. I was a but scared to try this but they make you feel so comfortable. The views around the area are just sensational. Our guides were very personable. Would definitely recommend this.
