Meet your guide at the base of the Waiau Ferry Bridge in Hanmer Springs. You'll receive overalls, boots, and a helmet in addition to a safety briefing. Get instruction and practice operating your quad bike with automatic or manual transmission. Embark on an exhilarating and rugged ride. The adventurous, family-friendly route lets you drive, or ride, on a two-seater in conditions according to your skill level, but expect to get wet while crossing riverbeds and muddy farmland trails. Spectacular scenery is guaranteed while aboard the 4WD all-terrain vehicle throughout the 2-hour tour.

5.00This was one of the best experiences we have been whilst in New Zealand and we have done a lot. Price was right for this 2 hour quad but ke session. Our guide, Pete, is a true NZ gentleman who was amazing. He gave a thorough explanation at the start of how to use and manage the quads, kitted us out with helmets and boots for those that wanted them and drove us to the bikes. After a practice session to ensure we were all okay we were off. 2 hours of ups and downs, different terrains and experiences, through streams etc in the most amazing scenery in glorious weather. This was something else. At 65 and 67 yrs old it was an experience not to miss. Thanks Pete for a great afternoon in your office!

5.00We throughly enjoyed our Quad bike experience with Harrison. We were laughing and joking before we had even managed to get our wellies on. He really made a lot of effort to make it such a good time. I got absolutely covered head to toe in mud thanks to him getting stuck, but this just added to the fun. Our parents took the buggy and we were dubious as to whether they'd enjoy it, but they absolutely loved it. Got really stuck in and we all laughed our heads off the entire time. Thanks so much for an excellent time.

5.00Absolutely brilliant experience, we really enjoyed it. Fantastic views and the instructor was very experienced, really friendly and very professional with the whole experience. This is a great fun experience to do and we would really recommend it.
Buggy ride near hanmer springs

5.00Had a wonderful time riding our buggy through gorgeous medley springs farm. Our guide was fantastic and took our ability into account and gave us great commentary along the way. So picturesque and lovely to see so many spring lambs. Highly recommend this team.

5.00With next to no experience, the quad-bike ride was a lot of fun. I especially enjoyed the river crossing after our guide said "Hmm - I may have made a mistake here!". Excellent fun, top safety and training, highly recommended. Thanks Cieran (sorry if I spelled your name wrong mate).

5.00Great fun. My first time driving a quad bike, however the clear instructions and practice driving made it easy. Definitely needed the gumboots and overalls provided. Would recommend

5.00So good had a blast would decivatly do it again. Kids loved it always a fun activity to do whilst in Hanmer springs. In cooler months best to go for 10am ride otherwise arvos cools down a lot

1.00The quad biking needs to be better explained of what it is, it's follow the letter and don't drive over 15km no excitement at all, not worth what we paid. Will go amuri jet adventures next time, Best part was the biscuit an water
