Taste your way through Vietnam’s capital city on this nighttime excursion. After a convenient hotel pickup, hop on a motorbike and savor complimentary dishes like Banh Cuon (steamed roll cake), Bun Cha (grilled pork with vermicelli noodles), freshly grilled seafood and some different Hanoian version of Pho and banana salads and other traditional Vietnamese dishes. Get an insider’s view of Hanoi’s food scene while exploring sites like the Long Bien Bridge, West lake, Ngu Xa village, pass by the French quarter and the local hangout “Train Street.”

Old Quarter
18:00 Our mainly female drivers and tour guide of Motorbike City Tours will meet you at your hotel lobby for a safety briefing and detailed itinerary of your journey. We use a fleet of brand new Honda Lead scooters equipped with passenger backrests for comfort, you feel like you are in a lounge chair, not hanging on tightly as some bikes you may do. The first stage of our Hanoi By Night Foodie Motorbike Tours, we stop at local eatery Hanoians claim is the best spot for Banh Cuon (steamed rolled cake) in town. The skilled chef will demonstrate for us how the ingredients are put together as we get to experience a front row seat to the culinary process. Our tour continues weaving through the streets bathed in the glow of colorful lanterns and decorative lights in the Old Quarter as we ride along the bank of the Red River to take in the views of Hanoi under the cover of night.
Long Bien Bridge
The second stage of our Hanoi By Night Foodie Motorbike Tours leads us to one of Hanoi’s most prominent family run restaurants where you will get to enjoy Bun Cha( grilled pork with vermicelli noodle). You’ll be taken on a ride over to West Lake to enjoy the scenery before arriving at Ngu Xa village to try Freshly grilled seafood and some different Hanoian version of Pho and Banana salads and other traditional Vietnamese dishes.

5.00Absolutely awesome food tour with Simone! Tried so many great, local foods and really enjoyed seeing the city at night on a motorbike. Cherry was a great driver on my motorbike and we were even accompanied by an extra guide for added security! So so fun and very full by the end. Would totally do this again!! Highly recommend!

5.00I had a great experience on this tour. The female-led driving team is fantastic—my driver was lovely, friendly, and made me feel completely safe weaving through Hanoi’s night traffic. The company clearly supports and trains women, which I really appreciated. All the food stops were delicious, authentic, and places I wouldn’t have found on my own. Drinks, bottled water, and all the gear like helmets, visors, and raincoats were provided, which made everything super easy. Pick-up and drop-off in the Old Quarter was smooth and professional. Overall the night was fun, relaxed, and felt very local. The only small downside is that we didn’t go onto Long Bien Bridge, which I had mentioned wanting to do. It would’ve made the tour perfect. Aside from that, it was a wonderful experience and I’d still happily recommend this tour—especially for solo travellers or anyone who wants a safe, enjoyable way to explore Hanoi at night.

5.00As a solo traveller, I was looking forward a way to get a tour of the city and to try some of the local dishes. This tour exceeded my expectations, and was easily my favourite tour in Hanoi. No lengthy bus rides, no massive line ups, and really great company!! Ginny was my driver/rider, her skills on the bike were fantastic, despite the Hanoi traffic I never felt in danger. And we talked the whole time, her personality is amazing. Money was our guide, and she took us for some incredible meals in some of the best spots in Hanoi. You won’t find these restaurants without local help, do yourself a favour and book this. Man, woman, old or young, these ladies will endure a night you’ll remember in Hanoi! Thanks Money and Ginny!!

5.00Highly recommended. Guides are friendly speaks English very well and food recommended were delicious and authentic. We went to 6 places tried 8 different dishes (pottion were huge, normal main course size) and went to train station to have the famous egg coffee.

5.00This trip was so much more than I expected. The food was great but the best part was listening to my guide Summi. Her history and insight on Hanoi and Vietnamese people was so fun to listen to. The best thing I have done in Hanoi. I got to see way more than I expected and learned alot. I highly recommend Summi and this trip.
