Taste your way through Vietnam’s capital city on this nighttime excursion. After a convenient hotel pickup, hop on a motorbike and savor complimentary dishes like Banh Cuon (steamed roll cake), Bun Cha (grilled pork with vermicelli noodles), freshly grilled seafood and some different Hanoian version of Pho and banana salads and other traditional Vietnamese dishes. 18:00 Our mainly female drivers and tour guide of Motorbike City Tours will meet you at your hotel lobby for a safety briefing and detailed itinerary of your journey. We use a fleet of brand new Honda Lead scooters equipped with passenger backrests for comfort, you feel like you are in a lounge chair, not hanging on tightly as some bikes you may do. The first stage of our Hanoi By Night Foodie Motorbike Tours, we stop at local eatery Hanoians claim is the best spot for Banh Cuon (steamed rolled cake) in town. The skilled chef will demonstrate for us how the ingredients are put together as we get to experience a front row seat to the culinary process. Our tour continues weaving through the streets bathed in the glow of colorful lanterns and decorative lights in the Old Quarter as we ride along the bank of the Red River to take in the views of Hanoi under the cover of night.
Long Bien Bridge
The second stage of our Hanoi By Night Foodie Motorbike Tours leads us to one of Hanoi’s most prominent family run restaurants where you will get to enjoy Bun Cha( grilled pork with vermicelli noodle). You’ll be taken on a ride over to West Lake to enjoy the scenery before arriving at Ngu Xa village to try Freshly grilled seafood and some different Hanoian version of Pho and Banana salads and other traditional Vietnamese dishes.

5.00This was the highlight of our visit to Hanoi! I was a bit nervous as I had never ridden on a scooter before, let alone in the organized chaotic traffic of Hanoi. My fears soon disappeared once we began our journey with Linh and Bong (both excellent drivers), with Lee travelling behind us for added security and safety. Not once did we feel unsafe. The scooters were very comfortable, especially with the backrest. The food was amazing at every stop; even the delicious Vietnamese snails we never would have tried on our own. The restaurants we were taken to were clean and inviting. Linh and Bong would explain and demonstrate how to properly prepare each meal before eating. They were both very attentive. We would highly recommend this tour group. Thank you Bong, Linh and Lee for a wonderful experience - a tour we will never forget!

5.00The best way to experience Hanoi! We felt safe and yet exhilarated exploring the authentic food of Vietnam in local places. Summi, Trang, An, Thuong were wonderful. What better way to do it than zipping about on the back on a motorbike, with experienced locals looking after you, and guiding you. Great communication, welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable.

5.00Such a fun way to see Hanoi and try the cuisine! The scooter drivers were so safe and knowledgeable about Hanoi. And the food was amazing! We were able to try a variety of things and were taught the traditional way of eating each dish. The team was so friendly and made recommendations when we were able to choose items and really made the tour personable. This is a must do while in Hanoi!

5.00Loved this tour! Everyone should do it once in their lives. The food was fine but it was more the experience of zipping through Hanoi traffic on a motorbike. Saw a lot more than I ever would have covered by myself.

5.00We are family of four (mom, dad, two adult children) on our first trip to Vietnam. Having landed into Hanoi’s International airport on Christmas Day late afternoon, I was unaware of how chaotic traffic was going to be heading to our hotel next to the Opera Building. We were late arriving to our hotel and our original tour group went on without us. Did we just miss our food tour opportunity? No way with Hanoi Motorbikes (with female guides)! They went out of their way to accommodate us. They all waited for us to check-in, get settled into our rooms while patiently waiting outside the hotel! After introductions and a safety briefing, we commenced our food tour. Navigating the streets of Hanoi is no small feat. Our guides Linh (lead guide), Shane, Pha, and Wuyen were amazing. They drove their mopeds with tenacity and skill while keeping us safe. While dining on some of the trendiest, tastiest Vietnamese cuisine in Hanoi, Linh shared tidbits of her life growing up in Vietnam and the struggles she and her peers face. Despite the employment headwinds in Vietnam, Linh remains hopeful and positive. We were her third tour of the day and she still exuded much enthusiasm and joy towards us. There is so much more to be said about the tour, the food, the ride, the service, but I do not wish to spoil any of it for anyone. The journey is worthwhile, You will feel good about the food, culture, scares, and most important - you meet some awesome people and feel empowered to do more for them. Thank you Linh, Wuyen, Pha, and Shane! A shout out to the photographer that accompanied us (who video documented the tour and took amazing photos/videos)! Stop reading and book a tour or two. You won’t regret it! 5.00I can’t recommend this experience enough. We had Hoa as our guide, with group of lovely university student drivers and a videographer. The team were incredibly friendly, helpful and informative. The experience was well planned and executed offering a range of local dishes with some local context and history. The group enjoyed the experience of seeing the city from the back of a bike! A must try!

5.00Pros: (1) Riding a Motorbike around Hanoi City is a fun, yet experiences. (2) 3 Meals + 1 Desert included. Please make sure you go with an empty tummy :) (3) Food Quality is up to expectation. (from a Malaysian perspective ~) (4) the tour Leader - Summi is really Cute and Friendly. Cons: (1) I was expecting all female Rider with Vietnam traditional clothes as per photos suggested. But ended few of them are young boys :( Conclusions: Still highly suggested for everyone to give it a try ~
