Taste your way through Vietnam’s capital city on this nighttime excursion. After a convenient hotel pickup, hop on a motorbike and savor complimentary dishes like Banh Cuon (steamed roll cake), Bun Cha (grilled pork with vermicelli noodles), freshly grilled seafood and some different Hanoian version of Pho and banana salads and other traditional Vietnamese dishes. Get an insider’s view of Hanoi’s food scene while exploring sites like the Long Bien Bridge, West lake, Ngu Xa village, pass by the French quarter and the local hangout “Train Street.”

18:00 Our mainly female drivers and tour guide of Motorbike City Tours will meet you at your hotel lobby for a safety briefing and detailed itinerary of your journey. We use a fleet of brand new Honda Lead scooters equipped with passenger backrests for comfort, you feel like you are in a lounge chair, not hanging on tightly as some bikes you may do. The first stage of our Hanoi By Night Foodie Motorbike Tours, we stop at local eatery Hanoians claim is the best spot for Banh Cuon (steamed rolled cake) in town. The skilled chef will demonstrate for us how the ingredients are put together as we get to experience a front row seat to the culinary process. Our tour continues weaving through the streets bathed in the glow of colorful lanterns and decorative lights in the Old Quarter as we ride along the bank of the Red River to take in the views of Hanoi under the cover of night.
Long Bien Bridge
The second stage of our Hanoi By Night Foodie Motorbike Tours leads us to one of Hanoi’s most prominent family run restaurants where you will get to enjoy Bun Cha( grilled pork with vermicelli noodle). You’ll be taken on a ride over to West Lake to enjoy the scenery before arriving at Ngu Xa village to try Freshly grilled seafood and some different Hanoian version of Pho and Banana salads and other traditional Vietnamese dishes.

5.00A friend booked the night food tour on 2/11/26, and I have to say it was one of the best ways to experience a city. You always hear about the motorbikes crowding the streets, so what better way to explore than by actually riding on one? It was such a fun, immersive way to see the city from a local perspective. Instead of being confined to just the Old Quarter, we rode all over town, which made the experience feel authentic and expansive. It really gave me a true sense of the city’s energy and character. The restaurants we visited weren’t fancy, but that’s exactly what made them special. Each spot had cultural significance and served incredible, authentic food that you probably wouldn’t find on your own as a visitor. And last but definitely not least, Summi and her friends were amazing! Summi is incredibly engaging, friendly, and passionate about what she does. She made everyone feel comfortable and welcomed, and her enthusiasm truly elevated the entire experience. Thank you Summi and friends!! Highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the real heart and soul of the city!

5.00Had a great tour with Emma and Hang. Both girls were fun and shared their experiences about the food and local culture. We could not eat any more by the final stop. Duration was 3 1/2 hours.

5.00What a great experience! So much fun. So much food. Our drivers were informative and so friendly and encouraging. This was the first thing we did when we arrived in Vietnam and set the bar for everything else. It was truly and amazing tour. And an amazing value!

5.00I loved this ride. Melanie drove me through Hanoi very safely despite the traffic. We were 3 and the three attendants were great. Money accompanied us to the meals. Delights in every stop. Well enough to eat, drink and above all a quality of very, very good food. Experience also to see this train pass so close to the people at the table a few inches from us. Really an excursion not to be missed on cHanoi. It’s so great that I would like to keep this address secret! Thanks to the three girls! Xxx

5.00We had Linh as our tour guide and she was very engaging and we had a good time with her. The tour was well paced and around 3 hours long which was a perfect amount of time for the amount of stops we made (train street, Obama restaurant, etc). It was also a private tour which we didn’t know but it definitely made the experience more enjoyable. Definitely recommend!

5.00We were escorted into six memorable dining experiences by young women who drove us safely through the chaotic Hanoi traffic. Each of the visits were first rate. The two highlights were a visit to the Michelin restaurant where Barack Obama and Anthony Bourdain shared a meal. The second was a once in a lifetime experience sipping beer sitting next to the tracks at the famous Train Street, where you sit inches away from the passing of a train that travels from Hanoi to Saigon. Unbelievable experience.
