Taste your way through Vietnam’s capital city on this nighttime excursion. After a convenient hotel pickup, hop on a motorbike and savor complimentary dishes like Banh Cuon (steamed roll cake), Bun Cha (grilled pork with vermicelli noodles), freshly grilled seafood and some different Hanoian version of Pho and banana salads and other traditional Vietnamese dishes. Get an insider’s view of Hanoi’s food scene while exploring sites like the Long Bien Bridge, West lake, Ngu Xa village, pass by the French quarter and the local hangout “Train Street.”

18:00 Our mainly female drivers and tour guide of Motorbike City Tours will meet you at your hotel lobby for a safety briefing and detailed itinerary of your journey. We use a fleet of brand new Honda Lead scooters equipped with passenger backrests for comfort, you feel like you are in a lounge chair, not hanging on tightly as some bikes you may do. The first stage of our Hanoi By Night Foodie Motorbike Tours, we stop at local eatery Hanoians claim is the best spot for Banh Cuon (steamed rolled cake) in town. The skilled chef will demonstrate for us how the ingredients are put together as we get to experience a front row seat to the culinary process. Our tour continues weaving through the streets bathed in the glow of colorful lanterns and decorative lights in the Old Quarter as we ride along the bank of the Red River to take in the views of Hanoi under the cover of night.

The second stage of our Hanoi By Night Foodie Motorbike Tours leads us to one of Hanoi’s most prominent family run restaurants where you will get to enjoy Bun Cha( grilled pork with vermicelli noodle). You’ll be taken on a ride over to West Lake to enjoy the scenery before arriving at Ngu Xa village to try Freshly grilled seafood and some different Hanoian version of Pho and Banana salads and other traditional Vietnamese dishes.

Both the tour and the food were great! Lin and her team were exceptional: friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and safe! We were taken to places we would not have gone to and would not have ridden motorscooters otherwise. It was a memorable, fun, and great tasting evening and we highly recommend it!

Money was my guide for this foodie tour. She an excellent guide with lots of insight on where the locals eat and what is unique to Hanoi. There was enough time at each restaurant to enjoy the food, and with the built in breaks, it wasn't overwhelming. The crowd sizes were not an issue as we were always able to get a table. It was a lot of fun going from place to place on a motorbike and getting to see the city. Money pointed out points of interest as we travelled through the city. This tour is good solo, families, and groups. I would highly recommend Money as your guide and this tour. Its a great way to start your trip to Hanoi.

Emma was a great guide. I felt very safe on the back of her Vespa. The food was incredible - all in small mom & pop restaurants that I never would have entered on my own - I believe we stopped at 6/7 locations. Take this food tour - you won’t regret it!

This was a blast! We had great guides, Linh and Pong, and they took us on their scooters to try some wonderful local food. I felt safe on the scooter despite the craziness of Hanoi traffic.

One of the best activities of our trip to Vietnam! We highly recommend this motorcycle food tour in Hanoi. Our guides were amazing Linh, Bong, Minh drove us safely without the busy streets and alleys what an experience to live in Vietnam, wow! The culinary experiences were all succulent! We had a feast. We were able to have a drink on the street of the train that we could see twice with all the safety tips. I highly recommend this tour is the activity not to be missed. You can also see the main sites of interest.

Summi was both an excellent driver and tour guide! The tour was about three hours and we stopped at various places, including Bun Cha Obama (thanks Obama) and local-only places to try various dishes. There was definitely enough food, even for an eater like myself. Was very happy to book this tour the day of and thought it was definitely worth it!
