The Palace Tour unfolds the grandeur of the Nizams, blending history, art, and refinement. Begin with the Nizam’s Study and Windsor-inspired Library holding 6,000 rare books, including Titanic editions. Ascend grand marble staircases past Carrera lamps, fountains, and regal portraits. The Jade Room, glowing with Bohemian chandeliers and parquet floors, recalls Versailles. The tour and tea experience at Taj Falaknuma was absolutely amazing! The grounds and architecture of the palace are exquisite and photo-worthy at every turn. The “storyteller” historian was very knowledgeable and personable. However, the high point was the delicious high tea. My friend and I were treated to quite the variety of sweet and savory treats complimented by the sparkling wine and mojito. This experience should be included in everyone’s Hyderabadi adventure!

Excellent tour of the palace and history with a small group of guests. The food was the best and the view over the city was breathtaking. Could not ask for a better day!

The palace is amazing to experience and was a wonderful end to the sightseeing and history of Hyderabad! Can’t recommend enough. The service at high tea was very attentive. The high tea itself wasn’t spectacular for me but that would not put me off recommending it - it’s just personal taste. So make sure you go visit.

If you are visiting Hyderabad, Faluknuma Palace is a must see not only for its grandeur but also to enjoy the Afternoon tea in one of its restaurants. The service is impeccable and so is the food. I made the booking thru the Travel Agency Hyderabad Garuda Tourism, even though I didn't had much interaction with them but they ensured that it was a smooth process to visit the Faluknuma Palace as there are multiple checks before you are allowed to enter the hotel. Credit to Hyderabad Garuda Tourism for ensuring everything goes right.

I booked this tour with Garuda Tourism, Hydeabad. The Afternoon Tea at Taj Falaknuma Palace is an unforgettable royal experience, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Hyderabad’s skyline. The elegant Durbar Hall and Jade Terrace create a regal ambiance, complemented by impeccable service. Every bite, from delicate finger sandwiches to decadent pastries, reflects a blend of heritage and finesse. The selection of fine teas enhances the charm, making it a truly indulgent affair. A visit here is more than just tea—it’s a journey into the grandeur of the Nizams!

Opulence and rich heritage characterised our afternoon ‘high tea and heritage walk tour’. In true Hyderabadi style it began slightly late and our host was kind enough to pace it well for my aging mother to keep up. It was a bit strange to see different guests being treated differently. Some received a rose petal shower, while others were greeted with jasmine flower wrist bands and rose water sprinkles. Possibly a different package that costed higher than the Rs 6499 experience that we paid for? The grandeur and luxurious lifestyle of the nawab that led to his bankruptcy was quite evident as we meandered through the palace. Dining in the Celeste was an average experience with an extensive arrays of short eats. However, again we found different guests being treated differently. Not to berate the service, but for that price, you would expect a more personalised experience but we weren't the “chosen ones” that day. After a lot of photos, we experienced an amazing sunset from the front courtyard of the palace. Our best experience of the afternoon was when Tajuddin, the courteous and obliging valet, helped us find our taxi ride back home.
