Queen Kapi'olani Park
Kapiʻolani Park is Honolulu’s largest and oldest public park, originally gifted by King Kalākaua in 1877 and named after his wife, Queen Kapiʻolani. As we drive by, you'll see its lush greenery, towering banyan trees, and open fields, all set against the stunning backdrop of Diamond Head, a volcanic crater known as Lēʻahi in Hawaiian. Once a gathering place for Hawaiian royalty, the park remains a cherished spot for locals and visitors alike.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Stars We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Go Hawaii Tours! Our driver Bill was exceptional - not only was he a safe and skilled driver, but he was incredibly knowledgeable about the island's history, culture, and hidden gems. Bill made our tour both educational and entertaining, sharing fascinating insights about local landmarks, traditions, and the best spots to visit. His passion for Hawaii really showed, and it made our experience so much more meaningful than just a typical sightseeing trip. The tour was well-organized, and Bill's expertise and friendly personality made it feel like we were exploring the island with a knowledgeable local friend rather than just a tour guide. We learned so much and saw places we never would have discovered on our own. Highly recommend Go Hawaii Tours, and if you're lucky enough to get Bill as your driver, you're in for a real treat! Thank you for making our Hawaiian adventure unforgettable. Will definitely book again on our next visit to Hawaii!

The stops were pretty good. The videos in the van, completing with unruly and loud children and the guide talking over it all were overwhelming. Don’t be fooled by the description saying your lunch stop is the Famous Shrimp Farm. It isn’t. It’s an odd restaurant at the Polynesian Cultural Center. I chose the tour because it DIDN’T stop at the Polynesian Cultural Center. We’ve traveled elsewhere in Polynesia. We wanted local. The Dole Plantation is OK. You won’t spend much time there. The Dole Whip is great. The Byodo Temple is gorgeous. There’s a lot crammed into this loop tour. It was kind of chaotic, but it gave an overview of the island and I didn’t want to drive. We also did a reverse itinerary. That was probably a positive to beat crowds, but it meant ice cream at 10:00AM. Overall, the tour was decent, but there was substantial room for improvement. Ask the folks that didn’t get picked up and we went back to get after the first stop. This is the first Viator tour I’ve given less than four stars.
