Mount Ainslie Lookout
One of Canberra’s most beautiful vantage points at the top of Mount Ainslie. From the lookout, your guide will explain the growth of a young city, the two-tiered colonial and capital city history and point out places of interest and key attractions, all while you survey the tremendous design of Canberra’s architect, Walter Burley Griffin.
Expect a drive through the grounds of the Royal Military College Duntroon - Australian Army's officer training establishment and perhaps to Mount Pleasant where you’ll be delighted to an alternative aspect overlooking central Canberra.

5.00We were going on a short mini break to Canberra and wanted to ensure we maximised our stay. We had seen how highly rated tour this was on Trip Adviser so booked early. We were not disappointed. It really was a great experience and Neil was the perfect guide. The whole tour was so well planned giving you a full understanding of the how, where and when surrounding the city’s founding and its history to date, a thorough explanation of how the Parliamentary system works in Australia and ideas of what to do on subsequent days. It was all delivered in a very informative but light touch manner by someone who had a great breadth and depth of knowledge. Neil was always ready and willing to answer questions. We’d really recommend this as the first days’ activity in Canberra.

5.00The tour was awesome. We learnt so much about Australian history and are immensely amazed at the level of details and significance of each attraction. Our tour guide, Neil, was very helpful and told us lots of story along the ride - he is very passionate about the city. Such a 10/10 experience and we thank Neil and his enthusiasm which was a critical value-add to the tour itself.

5.00We saw a lot of Canberra in a day. Bob was friendly and knowledgeable and a great person to spend a day with. It took a lot of the stress out of us getting to all the sights by ourselves, and was far more enriching.

5.00I went on a highlights of Canberra all day small group tour. The driver/guide was really good and informative. The other guests were a great bunch to spend the day with also. I was satisfied and very tired after a full day out. Management is also very approachable and friendly. The tour was well worth the cost and I will look forward to dealing with this company again on future travels. There was an issue (my fault) with my booking and management were very helpful and sorted it for me. Thanks so much for a great and memorable day out. Suitable for all ages and abilities except wheelchair.
