5.00Marianne was a fantastic guide and truly brought the Met to life! She was informative, engaging and never overwhelming. We covered a lot of ground (no small feat given how enormous the museum is) in the two and a half hours we were together and this was the perfect introduction to such an iconic place. If you’re worried the Met might feel a bit too much then this tour is the answer. Would highly recommend!
Great tour for a first timer to the MET

5.00Our guide was called Nicola and he was a great story teller and passionate about the MET, which for someone who hasn't been there before was inviting as I wouldn't of had a clue where to go by myself. The meeting point was good and the Nicola was easily identified as per the instructions on the booking. He Took us round the museum with a logical order and told a story which linked into each other. The visit was roughly 2hrs and we were in a small group of 8 people which was nice. There was a point where Nicola passion made the room silent whilst everyone listened to him explain for Van Gogh was a very clever painter, which was admiring to witness, giving others a new perspective on how to look at the paintings. Would recommend this tour for someone who is beginner like me when it comes to art or someone who wants more in-depth details, we could ask him questions and he would do his best to answer them during the tour.

5.00Our guide, Marianne, provided an engaging and informative private tour of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. (She even managed to keep our two teens interested!) Having a knowledgeable guide made all the difference and brought the Met to life in a way that wondering on our own never could. A memorable experience that I would highly recommend!

5.00I had an amazing experience on this tour! Our guide, Marianne, was the perfect mix of knowledgeable, entertaining, and genuinely fun. She brought the history and stories to life in a way that kept is completely engaged from start to finish. The props she used were such a unique touch — not only did they make the explanations clearer, but the extra layer of a visual help me remember. You could really tell how passionate she is show casing the Highlights of the Met museum. I left feeling like I learned a ton and had an absolute blast at the same time. I highly recommend this guide to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable tour!

5.00Our Met tour with Robin was excellent! Contact was easy and seamless, and we were able to meet Robin immediately upon entering the museum. Robin is extremely knowledgeable of the museum and made our tour a wonderful experience. We really didn’t have a plan for what we wanted to see but Robin came up with a tour that exceeded our expectations. You will not be disappointed with this tour or Robin as the tour guide. I would love to do it again because the museum is so large and there’s not enough time to see everything.

5.00This tour was informative and a lot of fun. It was super helpful to hit some highlights when you are dealing with something on the size and scale of the Met. Johnathan was very relaxed, and it felt, in some ways, like taking a leisurely walk through the museum with a friend. It was the best. Highly recommended.

5.00This is the only way to make the most of your visit. We covered so much ground! Our guide, Katherine, was the best I’ve ever had. Her knowledge was amazing and so interesting . She encouraged our questions. I’m a native New Yorker and she told us so much history about the building itself, I had no idea. Best decision & so lucky with this fantastic guide.

5.00My husband and I did a Highlights of the Met Museum Tour with Katherine from Cicerone Travel. Katherine had a wealth of knowledge about the museum, was fun and interesting. The two and half hour tour flew by! Also, Cicerone was efficient and I expect we will do future tours with them.
