A full day adventure on bikes, boats, and trains at two of Japan's must-see destinations. Starting the day on two wheels, experience a thought-provoking and sensitive commentary on the history of Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park and Castle. From here, take a local train and ferry to Miyajima Island, where you can enjoy the contrast between with the stunning Shinto buildings and lush greenery of the island. Once on the island, you will learn about the culture of the island, explore the sites with your guide, greet the local deer, enjoy a regional lunch (vegetarian options are available but for other dietary requirements please get in touch), and discover the famous Itsukushima Shrine. Return to Hiroshima City in the manner you arrived and get evening recommendations from your neighbourhood guide.

5.00It was only my partner and I in the tour group and we were very lucky enough to land Amy as our tour guide. She tailored the tour to what she believed we would like most and we ended up having the most enjoyable experience despite the snowy weather. 5.00I went on the tour with Aimée-Linh and had an incredible time! Her knowledge of the area was outstanding and it made for a great tour. She added her own touches to the tour which made it more interactive and helped the information sink in. She went above and beyond with getting to know me and was a delight to be on tour with! I can’t recommend her enough!
