A full day adventure on bikes, boats, and trains at two of Japan's must-see destinations. Starting the day on two wheels, experience a thought-provoking and sensitive commentary on the history of Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park and Castle. From here, take a local train and ferry to Miyajima Island, where you can enjoy the contrast between with the stunning Shinto buildings and lush greenery of the island. Once on the island, you will learn about the culture of the island, explore the sites with your guide, greet the local deer, enjoy a regional lunch (vegetarian options are available but for other dietary requirements please get in touch), and discover the famous Itsukushima Shrine. Return to Hiroshima City in the manner you arrived and get evening recommendations from your neighbourhood guide.

The day trip with Sage was an absolute delight! I thoroughly enjoyed the day from cycling in the morning, learning about Hiroshima's history, having Hiroshima's okonomiyaki for lunch before hoping on a ferry trip to Miyajima! It was such a stellar day! Sage's passion and knowledge of Hiroshima has really made the day trip extra special! Thank you for a memorable experience!

The full day tour with Aimée-Linh was outstanding. I could only spend a day in Hiroshima and am glad to have been paired up with her. Done many walking and bike tours around the world, ranging from NYC, Paris, Amsterdam etc. This one would is the best to date. The content was kept simple but informative. I felt safe riding along even though it’s been a while since I’ve ridden a bike. Aimée-Linh ensured the route was efficient/effective, answered questions, helped take photos and went above and beyond in customer service. She has a heart and it shone through her work in the care taken, making it a fun, jam packed and a memorable visit. Highly recommend a tour with Cycle Hiroshima, and if you’re lucky you might have a similar experience.

Lovely bike ride theoughout all Hiroshima's main sites in three hours. Had a great time with the knowledgeable and funny guide, Awais. The best option for a day trip in Hiroshima and a good value for money.
