This value-packed trip with a licensed and experienced English-speaking tour guide is a fantastic and efficient way to explore both Hiroshima and Miyajima!

To start your day, meet your tour guide at your hotel, then visit famous sites such as Miyajima, Itsukushima Shrine, Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, Shukkeien Japanese garden, and Hiroshima Castle. Your guide will customize your private tour in detail according to your interests.

Eight-hours is the perfect amount of time to check out both Hiroshima and Miyajima island. We strongly suggest visiting both places when you come to this part of Japan.

24 Pass for Ferry and streetcar transportation is 900 Yen for adults, 450 yen for children.

Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum

Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park (平和記念公園, Heiwa Kinen Kōen) is one of the most prominent features of the city. Even visitors not looking for it will likely stumble upon the large park of over 120,000 square meters. Its trees, lawns, and walking paths are in stark contrast to the surrounding downtown area. Before the bomb, the area of what is now the Peace Park was the political and commercial heart of the city. For this reason, it was chosen as the pilot's target. Four years to the day after the bomb was dropped, it was decided that the area would not be redeveloped but instead devoted to peace memorial facilities. Admission Fee: ¥200

Our guide Kohuri was absolutely lovely she knew he subject like the back of her hand which made our experience even more worthwhile. She was not phased when we opted out of another castle tour and we spent a terrific time with her at a local restaurant eating then local cuisine. I cannot recommend her enough.

If you only have one day in Hiroshima then do yourself a favour and book this private full day tour with excellent local guide. YUJI was our guide and we could not have asked for a better person to show us around the island of Miyajima and Hiroshima. Yuji was very knowledgeable, provided lots of interesting information, entertained us and was funny as well as very friendly!

We loved this experience!!!!! My husband, my father, and our two kids spent the day with our guide Yuji and he was a wonderful guide. My kids thought he was very entertaining, and he went above and beyond to make sure my dad could handle the stairs or find an escalator when possible. He took us to beautiful parts of Miyajima, and this was a much better experience than going by ourselves. I highly recommend this tour! We learned so much from Yuji. It was a long day, but absolutely worth it, and doable for all ages 7 to 73.

We just finished our day tour with Nob. His English was outstanding and while it was hot and humid, Nob made our full day trip enjoyable. He mapped out our day journey through Hiroshima and Miyajima island minute by minute so we can see everything the city has to offer. Highly recommend the tour!!!! We fell in love with Hiroshima- thanks to Nob!!!
