This value-packed trip with a licensed and experienced English-speaking tour guide is a fantastic and efficient way to explore both Hiroshima and Miyajima!
To start your day, meet your tour guide at your hotel, then visit famous sites such as Miyajima, Itsukushima Shrine, Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, Shukkeien Japanese garden, and Hiroshima Castle. Your guide will customize your private tour in detail according to your interests.
Eight-hours is the perfect amount of time to check out both Hiroshima and Miyajima island. We strongly suggest visiting both places when you come to this part of Japan.
24 Pass for Ferry and streetcar transportation is 900 Yen for adults, 450 yen for children.

Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum
Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park (平和記念公園, Heiwa Kinen Kōen) is one of the most prominent features of the city. Even visitors not looking for it will likely stumble upon the large park of over 120,000 square meters. Its trees, lawns, and walking paths are in stark contrast to the surrounding downtown area. Before the bomb, the area of what is now the Peace Park was the political and commercial heart of the city. For this reason, it was chosen as the pilot's target. Four years to the day after the bomb was dropped, it was decided that the area would not be redeveloped but instead devoted to peace memorial facilities. Admission Fee: ¥200

5.00This tour was perfect. We saw everything we wanted in 1 day. The admission fees were very reasonable. Our guide, Yuji, was exceptional! He was knowledgeable, organized, flexible and very attentive. He anticipated what we needed and adjusted the pace accordingly. We highly recommend Yuji.

You can truly see how much he loves his city ~ he wanted us to understand not only Hiroshima’s history but also its culture and traditions. 5.00This is a long day but worth every minute. First off our guide Kazuhisa To was incredibly knowledgable , energetic, passionate and VERY professional . Miyajima Island is so special . The temple and shrine are deeply spiritual and To offered much insight . The buddhas with red hats are a highlight . Then it’s back to the city to stroll the stunning peace park and then see up close the devastation of the atomic bomb . Although that’s not easy to take, it makes one realize the importance of nuclear disarmament . I hope you are lucky enough to take this tour snd have To as your guide !

5.00Our tour guide Yuko was amazing! She was very easy to talk to throughout the day, informative, and attentive/kind. We learned so much about Hiroshima from her, and you can tell she is very proud to call this place her home. She also had all the best food recommendations. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone!!!

5.00We had an incredible experience on our private Hiroshima/Miyajima Tour. Our guide, Hiroshi, was wonderful. We toured all of the important Hiroshima memorials, museum, and sites. Hiroshi provided great insight into the history and people impacted by this tragic historical event. We appreciated gaining the additional perspective. We plan to visit again in the future to further explore the city. After completing our tour of Hiroshima, we boarded a fast ferry and headed to Miyajima. Wow, wow, wow! We were blown away by the peace, beauty, and serenity Miyajima put on display. And this was topped off again by the attention to detail and hidden gems offered by our guide Hiroshi. Incredible food, unforgettable temples, and meandering hiking paths thru the beautiful viallge - A memorable tour that we will never forget. Thanks again Hiroshi for everything!

5.00The Hiroshima museum and peace park are a must see. Very somber, moving and important. A critical event in human history. A bold decision by the US as the best means to achieve the end of war with Japan. Our guide Shujin was excellent, very knowledgeable and helpful.

5.00Yuko was our lovely guide. It was very emotional witnessing the dome, the museum and memorial park for us. Yuko was informative and sensitive to our needs. We thank her for this. The visit to itsukushima shrine and miyajima and understanding its significance through Yuko ended the day on a high note. We enjoyed making peace cranes too.
