We had high hopes for this much-hyped Highland and Hogwarts Express tour from Edinburgh, and it did start well—with some entertaining stories from our tour guide, Connor. However, what followed was deeply disappointing and frankly left us feeling disrespected. When it came time to board the Hogwarts Express, we were shocked to find that we had been deliberately assigned two aisle seats—despite multiple polite requests for at least one window seat so we could actually enjoy the scenic views this entire experience is known for. Connor not only ignored our pleas but appeared to go out of his way to ensure we didn’t get a fair seating arrangement. When we spoke to the train staff directly, even they were surprised and informed us that the standard default is to seat couples together on the same side of the carriage so that at least one person gets a proper view. It became very clear that this was a decision made by the guide—not a logistical necessity. The entire episode left a bitter taste, especially as it felt like we were singled out without reason. Whether this was due to unconscious bias or something more deliberate, it came across as discriminatory and unnecessary. The behavior was completely at odds with the warm hospitality we’d experienced elsewhere in Scotland. We sincerely hope the company takes feedback like this seriously. A magical experience was soured due to a lack of basic decency and fairness.

Connor our tour guide was excellent! This trip made for a long day but Connor’s stories and jokes made time go quickly. We feel very fortunate to have had Connor as our guide.

Very informative. Rich our tour guide was excellent...and hysterical. The bus was clean and comfy. Plenty of history and Potter info. Only thing to know is that it's 13 hrs long most of which is on the bus. It does give you a feel for Scottish geography
