The overall experience was great! Tom was our tour guide and he understood the assignment! He was funny, gave us interesting local historical facts and stories that helped passed the time, was personal, so kind, and very responsible. We even got stuck in a wreck for 1 hour and he still got us to the train on time making the best decisions for us and keeping us informed the whole time. 😅 It makes for a LONG day so be prepared. Bring snacks and drinks. But we definitely feel like we got our moneys worth.

The people saying that this was boring and wasn’t as expected went into the experience with too high of expectations. The train was the only “slow” part of the tour. It’s not a special Harry Potter Experience, it’s a basic ride on the train. What you do get though, is wonderful scenery and great information from the guide. They share historical stories at all of the stops and also give plenty of time to do a wee bit of a wonder around the sea side towns. I highly recommend this tour.
