Train ride on the Jacobite was excellent, but sadly not enough time available at Mallaig for lunch and gift shopping.

Iain was a great experienced driver. Plenty of refreshments stops. The stop at glenfinnan viaduct to see the train head back was an surprise

Emma was a wealth of knowledge she was like listening to an audio book and very informative on such a wide range of topics. I especially enjoyed her recount of culloden.

A beautiful trip, much seen in 1 day. A long day on the bus though. It is nice that not only the usual faster was driven because of, so you also see a bit more of the interior. The driver Donnie could tell a lot about the history, but also about many other things. At the end of the day, there is not much energy left and a moment of rest would have been nice.

This is a long trip so be prepared. You get to see a lot of different locations. It would nice if groups could sit together, but it is free seating on the bus and the train so larger groups may not get to sit together. Stops and bathroom breaks are quick. The Glenfinnan Viaduct was a wonderful stop and we got to see the train travel over the viaduct. Great little towns. Fort Augustus with the locks was neat to see!
