Take in the peaceful rural scenery and observe the traditional farming activities that form the backbone of local life. - Arrive at a local family's home in Dong Ha Village. Here, you'll learn about the traditional practices of rice, vegetable, and grain cultivation. Engage in hands-on experiences as you observe and participate in the daily activities of the farmers. - Activity Highlights: + Witness and try your hand at making rice noodles. + Learn the intricate process of creating votive paper offerings (30 minutes).

5.00Most interesting to get outside the city into the countryside, especially after so many people impacted by the floods. Underscores the resilience of the Vietnamese people. Our guide was superb and that makes all the difference.

5.00Amazing tour! Just my husband and I on the tour ($120USD for both). Thomas was very friendly and contacted me by WhatsApp to confirm hotel pick up. Enjoyed a beautiful lunch first at a spa and restaurant before we headed into the countryside. The food at lunch was authentic, cooked by a lovely local lady, who shared her cooking tips with me. We then headed out into the villages and saw the real Vietnam outside of the cities and tourist areas. We joined a local family who produce rice cakes and rice noodles. We made some and heard about their daily routines and culture. We then visited another place and did wood carving, then the local rice wine maker and finally the family who weave mats. We tried some of the rice wine and bought a bottle. We supported each visit by purchasing some of their wares (bring small notes, 100,000 is nothing in your local currency but it makes a real difference here). We passed by schools, saw the school pick up. It was just a wholesome, fun and great tour. Highly recommend and Thomas is a lot of fun, he enjoyed the banter with my husband! The old Russian army jeep was a fun way to travel too. Choose this tour to give back to the local people outside of the main towns and gain valuable insight into their lives. It will make you feel gratitude for what you have in yours!

5.00Very good experience. Guide was helpful and full of knowledge. Vi visited homes and got to learn crafts the old way. You should definitely take this tour to experience what soon will be lost in the future about handcrafted jobbs. Beautiful people, kind and welcoming. Thank you for a great day. 5.00We did the HOI AN Countryside by Jeep tour and had the most memorable experience. Local guide Kien and driver Van are the best that we could have wished for, knowledgeable about the locals, packed full of information about the history, part of the communities we visited. We had an opportunity to make rice noodles, guided by a wonderful lady and her family. The noodle and sesame snacks were fantastic, would be keen to try and make some at home. We saw grass mats being made, rice wine being distilled, amazing woodwork sculpture and even had a go at some small keepsakes to take away with us. The lunch at the end really let us taste some of the tastiest Hoi An flavours. Will come back and try more tours run by these excellent guides.

5.00We had an insightful tour guide named Tanh who showed us quite a raw perspective of Vietnam that we all as a family very much enjoyed. We all felt as if we got a good education that was engaging for all ages. Very affordable price, especially considering to the places we went to. The tour felt very authentic, and we gained a very newfound appreciation for things that could be perceived even as forgotten, such as the rug making. Amazing tour
