  We had booked a promotional balloon tour for the sunrise at Wahiba Sands in the Oman. That included an early morning pick-up at our desert camp with almost an hour transfer to and from the starting place of the balloon. There we got a nice snack for breakfast and attended the preparations for the flight, when the balloon was filled with air and the gondola got attached. Shortly before sunrise we took off to a phantastic magical ride over the desert and dunes of Wahiba Sands. Mateo, our Mexican "pilot", did not only do a great job in getting us up to even 850 meters but also was a nice guide who told us a lot about balloon riding in general, about navigation and even about land and people of the Oman desert. With him we felt absolutely safe during the entire flight and at an excellent, soft landing after more than one hour. Then we got our balloon flight certificates before we started the transfer back to our camp. As a nice surprise our Omani driver gave us a private "dune bashing" ride which rounded up our wonderful event with Royal Balloon Tours. All in all its been a wonderful "once in a lifetime" experience which we can highly recommend.

  We had an unforgettable hot air balloon ride over the Wahibi Sands desert in Oman with Matteo. The whole trip was a fantastic experience. Mateo explained the ballooning, and the trip itself was fantastic. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

  Great flight on which I felt safe at all times. What was great was that the balloon kept spinning, so everyone could look and photograph in all directions.

  We had an absolutely indescribable experience in the Omani desert. Watching the sunrise from a bird's-eye view over the endless dunes was a magical moment that is hard to put into words. ​A few highlights of our trip: ​Expert Piloting: Our pilot, Janifer, was incredible. She handled the balloon with such confidence and skill that we felt completely safe and relaxed throughout the entire flight. ​Flawless Service: The entire Royal Balloon team was professional, friendly, and attentive. From the early morning pickup to the landing, everything was organized to perfection. ​The View: The silence of the desert from above combined with the golden morning light is a "must-do" for anyone visiting Oman. ​A huge thank you to Janifer and the whole crew for making this morning so special.   I strongly recommend the balloon flight at Wahiba Sands with pilot Javier. Everything organized in a fully proffessional and safe way. Beautiful views and unique experience. Don't hesitate and book the flight, you won't regret.
