The Imperial City is the most important historical and cultural sight, occupies a prominent place in the middle of the city. It look like a walled fortress and palace belonged to the ancient city of Hue which was a capital city of the Nguyen Dynasty (13 kings) for 140 years dating back from 1805 until 1945. Visiting the complex of The Imperial City, you will admire many of magnificent palaces and temples . This was a fantastic day, covering so many of the highlights of Hue. Garden Home lunch was a great experience including making traditional little cakes. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. A very full day!

We had a wonderful meal in a very nice sport. After lunch we had a foot bath and the learned how to make mung bean cake! Lovely staff and a beautiful atmosphere.

We were pleasantly surprised by the authentic in- home lunch with locals at a homestay cum lunch service in the ancient city of Hue irganused by our tour company. We were warmly greeted with hot towels and served several courses of vegan lunch, fruits, tea and dessert. The herbal foot bath following lunch was an added bonus in the serene tropical gardens. Highly recommend.

My was our tour guide. She picked us up promptly from our hotel and guided us round all the main sites of Hue. The highlight was the Imperial City that is set inside the citadel. We also visited the min two tombs. We had a very nice lunch in a restaurant near the citadel, with an opportunity to soak our feet (much needed as we did a lot of walking) and to make Vietnamese snacks at the same time! My was very knowledgeable and informative and even gave us some great tips for two places (An Dinh Palace and Museum of Antiquities) to see the following day that were not included in the tour. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Great fun at the restaurant with such friendly and fun staff. Tour guide was lovely with great sense of humour but also very knowledgeable.

The trip was conducted in a very well organised manner. The English speaking guide was a competent person. Food was great. The overall experience was quite satisfactory. Highly recommended.

Had a great experience! Food was fantastic! Thao and Ny showed us how to make the mung bean dessert shaped like fruits. What a great time we all had! I recommend everyone to come visit this place when they go to Hue!
