  Have no hesitation booking with Experience Rio when visiting Rio, Henry really made our trip and couldn’t thank him enough! Unlike other tour operators, Henry is 100% genuine and is looking out for you, trying to save you money and make your trip the best it could be. We booked trips for every day we were in Rio like Maracana Flamengo game, Vidigal Favela tour, Tijuca and waterfalls, the Ilha Grande private boat tour. We also took Henry’s advice to complete our own trips at times too like Christ the Redeemer and Escadaria Selarón where a guide isn’t necessary, it was really refreshing for someone to give advice and not just want to take your money which made us feel at ease from the start. Henry was great with all of our family including our children, a shout out to his brother Charlie too who accompanied us on the trips. Ilha Grande - We took a private boat tour, Henry picked us up from our accommodation once again and drove us to the Marina which was about 1 hour 45 minutes away. We were met by the captain for the day and a nice little boat which can occupy 10 people but there were only 6 of us for the day so had plenty of room both in shade and in the sun. Henry planned the trip to perfection, avoiding crowds and taking us to some great secluded spots where could be described as paradise. We got to snorkel and swim with fish, see a star fish, hold a sea urchin, have fun jumping and diving in to the water and walked to Igreja da Freguesia de Santana where we hugged one of the largest palm trees I’ve ever seen whilst the captain cooked our bbq! Henry is a bit of a master chef so I would recommend paying extra to have the BBQ, he prepared the food to perfection. Everything was homemade and tasted great, garlic bread, potato salad, a salsa type dish to accompany the marinated chicken skewers and sausages. We took our own beer, cider, water and soft drinks which were kept cool in a big cool box with ice, the whole trip just like the others was great fun. When we return to Rio I will 100% be contacting Henry again to take some of the other tours like two brothers for sunrise and sunset, do not hesitate to book, if you’re looking to book a tour in Rio use Experience Rio for sure!
