Water Blow

Water Blow is a unique spot located in Nusa Dua where large waves of sea water from the Indian Ocean continually crashes against jagged limestone edges of a cliff. The water blow is the outcome of the narrowing crag below the cliff face that channels a massive surge of water up to 30 meters high from its base following strong currents. This phenomenon results in giant, irregular splashes of wave that can reach several meters high. The area provides a 240-degree lookout of dramatic seascape that is bordered by guardrails.

Putu did a super job today. We enjoyed his company, all the spots he suggested to us and the restaurant he took us to for lunch. He is a very brave man driving in the crazy traffic. We were in good hands!

Putu our lovely guide was waiting for us. He chatted & answered questions. We had a truly lovely day. Highlight for me was the Jungle Swings Photo Shoots, there were many to choose from and they took the pictures with your own phone (no hidden costs), we enjoyed the Monkey Forest too, monkeys & fox bats. We opted to do the glass walk above the waterfall. The waterfall was a little disappointing but the views made up for it. A very good day

Great day out with our driver Kadek. Nice guy and very knowledgable about the area, also took us to a great warung, off the beaten track, for some great traditional food.
Two Days in Bali with Kedak

We spent two days with Kedak (means 2nd son!) and had a lovely time. First day we went to Uluwatu, and had a nice time looking around before taking in the Kecak (Fire) Dance program. HOWEVER, we did not see the show at Uluwatu, rather at a nearby venue. Apparently, in order to see the show at Uluwatu, tickets must be booked in advance. So we saw it at Melasti Beach, which is over a cliff as well. The show was FANTASTIC, and it didn’t matter to us that we saw it at a different location. The next day we asked for a pick up very early (5am) and Kedak was there early! We went to Ubud and had the rice patties, swing, and waterfalls ALL to ourselves! It was such a lovely time! It rained the entire trip, but Kedak always had an umbrella ready for us if we needed it. We also went to some very nice shops, a Batik shop as well as a LOVELY jewelry shop that was very reasonable and had beautiful pieces. It started with an “S” and I’m hoping our tour folks can help in the name.. we then visited a Hindu shrine which was very lovely, andfrom there, we went to what we THOUGhT was going to be the Monkey Forest Sanctuary, but instead was the K Monkey River, nothing like the Sanctuary and very much a step down from the real thing. This would be our only gripe with two days of touring with Kedak, but by then we were getting tired and the ride back was met with flooding due to heavy rains. Kedak is an extremely safe and knowledgeable driver, and would benefit from having a guide to tour with him to explain the region as you’re getting from place to place. We had a most lovely time with Kecak, and communication was good with Wayan. We will look for Bali Hit as a company when we return, which we most certainly will. Thank you!

We had a fantastic tour today with Awan despite the rain. He was very attentive and he made sure that our needs and wants were met. I would definitely recommend him. By the way he is also a great photographer and we have some fantastic photos of us as we toured Bali. Great job 5 out of 5 for sure 😎
