This one-day tour from Inverness takes in some of the most beautiful scenery of the Highlands, travelling past magnificent Loch Ness, before reaching the Glenfinnan Viaduct. Pause here for photos of the iconic bridge and see the Jacobite Steam Train cross over on its journey.
Please note: the Jacobite Steam Train is operated by another company and as such we cannot guarantee that it will be running or that your tour will meet up with it. This tour does NOT board the Jacobite Steam Train.

Collapsible wheelchairs with removable wheels can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them board and disembark the bus.

This tour will visit the Glenfinnan area and the Glenfinnan Viaduct. Please note: the Jacobite Steam Train is operated by another company. As such, we cannot guarantee that it will be running or that your tour and the train will meet up at the same time. The morning train service runs from March 28th 2024 - October 25th 2024.
If you are driving, we recommend parking at the Old Town Rose Street Multi-Storey Car Park, 24 Rose St, IV1 1NQ, conveniently located next to our departure point.

5.00Seats are a bit snug, lovely scenery, plenty of stops, informative driver, interesting stories, one I particularly stood out to me about the seven heads. Never knew loch was so long.

5.00Fiona was a wonderful tour guide. She gave great local information and played nice music in between. She did a great job timing our travels so we could see extra sights like the sweet hairy coos and extra train sightings. Loved the museum at the viiaduct and Mallaig was a nice lunch stop. We left the tour at Mallaig to take the train to Fort Williams for the next part of our trip. Fiona made that transition seemless.

5.00We had EN super experience where we got to see a lot of the beautiful Scottish landscape, with many nice stops along the way. EN real highlight was seeing the iconic train – something we were really looking forward to. Our guide, Owen, was incredibly good! His joy of storytelling and empathy made the trip even more memorable. He shared many interesting stories that deepened our understanding of the places we visited and the culture we got to know. Highly recommended.

5.00A long day, but worth the time! Our driver and guide, Alex, was friendly and very informative about the places we visited and passed by. Chasing the steam train after the viaduct was fun, got lots of great photos! Loved going down the smaller roads, which led to beautiful views to enjoy. Alex gave us plenty of opportunities for bathroom breaks and refreshment, it was a very nice experience.
