This is an activity where you can experience Japanese traditional culture at the same time. Customers arrive at the store and choose their favorite kimono or yukata to dress up. After styling your hair, enter the tea room and begin your tea ceremony experience. After completing the experience, you can go to Sensoji Temple and take a walk. I returned to the store before 5pm to change your clothes and finished.

This was a truly memorable experience. The experience of getting dressed in a kimono is unlike anything I’ve ever done. Learning the customs of the matcha tea ceremony was something I truly enjoyed. I’d definitely recommend to anyone who thinks they’d like this experience. I feel very fortunate. Be aware that the kimonos are made for people who are quite small compared to many westerners. I’m 5’8” and 158 lbs and felt quite big

We had a lot of fun at the tea ceremony. The mood was much looser, we read in advance expected. We were allowed to choose the kimonos ourselves at the beginning. We girls even got our hair done - that was surprisingly fast and was very pleasant. Everyone was very friendly. We had the ceremony with Kyoto-san, who explained everything for us in English and was so graceful when showing that we could have seen her touching the matcha forever. It was really a great experience. Clear recommendation for all tours. Note: The group should not be larger than 4 people. Then it might get too tight.

This was an absolutely fabulous experience. Selecting and wearing a kimono - having a stylist fix my hair - and learning about the tea ceremony from Kyoko. Incredible. I had only a weekend in Tokyo and booked this weekend experience for the Monday morning when I was flying out. So I could only do the experience. I so wished that I had the extra hour to book the photo shoot that was an option later. I felt like a princess in the kimono and this deserved the professional photos!! That said. I really learned a lot and truly learned a lot. Thank you, Kyoko! I am now a matcha fan! (And bought a few bags duty free at the airport on my way home)

This experience is one that my whole family enjoyed! Definitely a highlight!! My daughter and I enjoyed the hair styling! I thought makeup was included, but it wasn’t. Might have been included in photo package that I read first. The guys enjoyed the experience as well, but did not like wearing the shoes out walking around. My daughter and I would have stayed dressed up all afternoon, but the guys were ready to put their comfy clothes back on. The sweet young lady who provided the tea experience was very social and kind! I wish i had gotten her name! And the lady who dressed us made us feel like a million bucks! Thank you all for the amazing experience!

The Tea experience with Mika was a true delight and à must for anyone visiting Tokyo. She has over 20years experience and trained to teach this magnificent part of the Japanese culture for 10 years. I left this 90 minute event feeling grateful and with a greater admiration for this ritual that began with the Samurai.

The tea ceremony was so nice and relaxing. The hostess was pleasant and gives us history glimpse. The girl helps us with putting kimonos as my hear style was done in 5-10 mins and beautiful and very stylish. We spent a few hours outside at beautiful temple and made forever lasting memories and photographs . We are very happy to have tea ceremony experience.
