Enjoy an exhilarating cruise along the magnificent and ancient Kangaroo Island coastline. As you travel you will have the opportunity to see dolphins, seals, sea eagles and other birdlife in their natural habitat. Witness the pristine waters, stunning coastline and marine animals that inhabit this thriving environment.
Our skipper provides informative commentary as you cruise along.
Marine species that may be seen on the day can include bottlenose and common dolphins, white-bellied sea eagles, long-nosed seals, australian sea lions, southern right and humpback whales (during the colder months) and more.
This is a must-do activity while you are on the island with safari's departing daily. Suitable for all ages.
Please note - If you arrive on a cruise ship and cannot get into Penneshaw on your tender on the day your tour can be cancelled (and you claim costs on your travel insurance) or we can hold it for you for use within a 3 year timeframe.

5.00Absolutely fantastic Ocean Safari tour this morning on Kangaroo Island! From the moment we stepped on board, David and Thomas were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made us feel right at home and shared interesting explanations about the local history, how the rocks were formed, and other fascinating details that kept my young boys engaged the whole time. The tour itself was brilliant. We had an amazing encounter with a pod of dolphins early on, and the guys invited us to stand on the side of the boat so we could get a closer look — they took their time and never rushed us. We then saw loads of seals before heading back out for even more dolphin action. We even saw eagle flying. It was nonstop wildlife excitement from start to finish! The boat was really comfortable, and the whole experience was just perfect. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kangaroo Island. Highly recommended! Thank you David and Thomas for such a memorable morning!

5.00WOW WOW WOW! What a fantastic way to see the coast line and experience the beauty of dolphins seals and birds. The Captain and his French First Mate are hilarious but also very knowledgeable and love what they do which helps everyone enjoy their experience even more. Safe and fun, we all enjoyed it and such great value.

5.00Went to kangaroo island for the first time and we decided to try the oven safari and we are so glad we did our tour guides were amazing and very knowledgeable, genuinely happy to take us out,we definitely will recommend to others and go again

5.00We had a wonderful day on our tour with two of the most charming and very friendly young men. (Do apologise for not remembering your names as am bad with that) we saw lots of dolphins and lots of seals. Great photos were taken. They were very knowledgeable about what they told us. We really enjoyed the morning. Great start to our day

5.00What a fantastic experience! We saw several dolphin pods up close and also saw 2 groups of seals. It was really interesting seeing the rock formations. The crew were really friendly, knowledgeable and gave excellent commentary. A must do!

5.00Tour Guides were very friendly, very informative and very competent. We saw dolphins, seals and a white breasted sea eagle. It was great also to be out on the ocean. We had a great time.

1.00It was nonrefundable! Booked, then informed it was nonrefundable. Unable to go because we learned we had to be back on board before the tour would be complete. Attempted to contact Viator to see if we change our time , but they never responded. However the tour company did reach out to us & said they would contact Viator to help us get a refund. Haven’t heard back yet. Very disappointed!
