  ​An absolutely breathtaking cultural experience! It felt deeply intimate, worlds apart from standard stage shows. The performances were beautifully curated, and the instrumental jugalbandi—especially hearing the SARANGI up close—was pure magic. I’m completely in love with this place.

  Excellent experience in the heart of old Delhi. Tea, calligraphy, music, dances, handicrafts. Not a tourist trap, it was a real, high quality experience. I really felt the hospitality of the people inside and their attempt to highlight the cultural identity of the city.

  🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A superb cultural break in the heart of Old Delhi We spent an exceptional time at the Katika Cultural Center, a real nugget hidden in the alleys of Old Delhi. On the program: a small concert of traditional music, followed by two traditional dances full of energy, then — surprise — a mini dance class in which we participated with great pleasure (and crazy laughter 😄). The experiment continued with a very well made short film on the restoration of a haveli (traditional house), before a guided tour of this same haveli, subtly renovated in a style mixing Indian, Eastern and European influences. It was also an opportunity to discover that the place is home to a charming bed and breakfast — a great discovery for a future stay in Delhi! Welcoming was extremely warm: cold and hot drinks offered on arrival, tasty meals included in the price, and the whole team was very attentive. We had a little trouble finding the entrance at first, but the organizer shared his WhatsApp number with us, which made things very simple and smooth. In short, an authentic immersion in Indian culture, in a place full of charm and benevolence. Don’t miss it if you’re passing through Delhi! 🙏✨
