As you walk through the picturesque orchard, your guide will explain the history of avocados, how they are grown and the various orchard activities, tree and fruit development stages that occur throughout the year. You'll get a chance to pick your own avocado (season dependent). Meet some local native birds that call the orchard home. Watch a live demonstration of the harvesting machine used to pick fruit high in the trees. After the stroll, tantalise your tastebuds with some delicious guacamole and avocado ice cream. A merchandise stand is available for the purchase of avocado-themed items and mementos. By choosing the Gourmet Tour, you’ll experience an avocado-themed tasting event featuring a variety of dishes such as guacamole with chips, avocado and feta on balsamic and caramelized onion crackers, sourdough, and a selection of avocado oils. Delight in avocado mousse, avocado chocolates, and finish with refreshing avocado gelato. Dishes will change from time to time, ensuring a dynamic and exciting experience.

5.00Did this at the last minute as something to do when our other plans got cancelled. Too late to book online but Tim kindly accommodated us when we called instead. My wife and daughter are a lot more into avocados than I am so had minimal expectations going in but it turned into the most interesting and enjoyable 2 hours I have spent in a long time and capped off with some excellent tastings and some truly exceptional avocado gelato. Would definitely recommend.

5.00Efficient to book and a wonderful tour!! He is so passionate about avocados and knows so much! Shared so much about his business and gave us some delicious homemade guacamole and avocado ice cream which was amazing! They both are gluten and dairy free. Would do the tour again!

5.00We loved our visit to Tim's avocado farm and would highly recommend. Our 14 and 12 year old thoroughly enjoyed learning about avocado farming and especially tasting the guacamole and gelato. Tim was a wonderful host and his passion really shone through. Fascinating to gain an insight into a whole new way of life. Thank you for sharing a slice with us!

5.00I can’t recommend this tour enough. What started as a time filler for me, became a fascination as we learned about a very unique fruit. It was so interesting from beginning to end, with some fun experiences along the way, like going up in the avocado picker, not to mention tasting the most delicious ice-cream and gelato! The hosts were so lovely, caring and informative! I will be going again and taking along friends next time!
