This was one of our favorite excursions/experiences during our whole trip. We hiked other areas and didn’t have nearly as much fun. Our tour guide Brian was amazing. His energy and knowledge was unmatched; had quite a few jokes along the way as well. We had an older gentlemen who had issues along the way and Brian was so nice and patient enough to haul him and his wife most of the way to the Falls. Kayaking was perfect. A bit of a long stretch of water to paddle through but it was super rewarding. We were blessed with perfect weather the whole time. We definitely felt the aftermath of paddling for 1.5 hours (45 there and 45 back) so be prepared to have a workout on your shoulders. Met some cool folks in our group and we definitely felt like a family. We all helped each other during the hike. Everyone was patient and waited for the older gentleman. Brian walked with him most of the trip. I don’t know who else would have done that. The hike to the falls was gorgeous. Shade all the way, history lessons here and there; jokes all the time. Wonderful experience. Although there was not much of a water fall, it was still rewarding. Brian rocks!

Our guide, Randy Hawai’i, went out of his way to make sure we were safe and sound. I needed extra help (I’m 72) and he was right there for me. His expertise and knowledge of Hawaiian culture was entertaining and educational. Highly recommended.

Best tour! The waterfall was perfect. The hike was beautiful, and our tour guide, Brian, was absolutely knowledgeable about the island and texted his island tips to us!

They ONLY have 2 person kayaks, no singles. Also there was nothing special about this excursion that makes it better. Noticed other guides talking with their people. Ours seemed to avoid talking and actually said very little hanging out at his truck while we were told to haul our kayaks to a staging area. Very disinterested in actually wanting to lead people.

Great experience! It was a bit rainy and cloudy which made for perfect weather. Mud was 3/10 and water level was pretty low, so the water crossings and hike were no problem. Would've been hard to bring older folks though as the rocks can be slippery. Kayaking was slightly strenuous but Mikayla helped us throughout and shared with us great tidbits about the surroundings, plants, birds, and local recs. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to do it again next time we're in Kauai!
