We had a lovely afternoon kayaking and walking up to the falls! It was and easy 2 mile paddle there and back (4 miles total) and a nice easy hike 1.5 miles up (3 miles total)! All and all a great way to see some beautiful parts of nature!

This was an amazing experience! So glad we did it. My husband and I are not super experienced hikers. It was a bit challenging because it was slippery at some points. But I was glad we had water shoes with good grips on. Some in our party went barefoot and were slipping around a lot. We did the 7:00 am tour and I was glad we did. As the day goes on there’s lots of traffic which slows you down because the trail is very narrow at points. The falls are beautiful and I was glad we did it. Shout out to Helm for an amazing adventure. He was a wealth of knowledge and we enjoyed everything he shared with us.

This is a very good activity for a beginner kayaker and a beginner hiker. If you have any issues with prolonged physical active will be the only issue someone would have. This is a nonstop activity that involves upper body strength for kayaking and lower strength for hiking. The hiking is doable as long as you know that the hike to the scret falls require you to maneuver on uneven grounds, walking through streams and walking up hill over big roots and rocks. I am a beginner at both of these activities but I do try and stay physically fit which helped a lot to prepare for this adventure. I hope you enjoy every minute of this activity as I and my husband did. Beautiful! And Thank you to our guide who was always thoughtful, kind, funny and professional the entire time for our group.
