The morning tour (6:30 AM or 7:00 AM) is our most recommended tour due to calmer ocean conditions and more wildlife sightings.
Raft tours will include seeing and possibly entering sea caves and snorkeling, but only if the ocean conditions are safe enough to do so. Your tour’s Captain will make this decision. (We do not snorkel in the sea caves.)
We recommend booking early in your vacation in case of a weather cancellation, you have more time left in your vacation to rebook.
Our tour departs from the west side of Kauai— We meet in Waimea at the Na Pali Riders office. Check in is 45 minutes before your scheduled tour time.
When ocean conditions are not favorable for a Na Pali Coast tour or the minimum passenger count for the safety and stability of our vessel is not met, you will be offered the following: The option to rebook for a different date and time. The option for a full refund.
You CANNOT attend if you are pregnant
WARNING: The Zodiac© raft makes for a wild and rough ride. Due to the nature of the Nā Pali Ocean Raft Tour, you must be in good physical condition to attend this tour. We cannot accommodate pregnant women, anyone with back or neck problems, medical conditions or recent surgeries.
Non-swimmers are prohibited from snorkeling.

5.00Beautiful trip along the Na Pali coast. The view from the water gives a different perspective than from the land or air, although all ways were beautiful. This trip is for the adventurous but I felt safe even inside the caves. Captain Brandon, Dane and Tom navigated the waters perfectly and gave my husband and me a once in a lifetime experience.

5.00If I could rate this a 10+, I would. This was spectacular. We did get lucky with a very sunny, warm day with smooth water which made the tour that much better. There was nothing I didn't like. What I really liked was seeing: the whale!, the spinner dolphins!, the bottle nosed dolphins!, the sea turtle!, the birds!, the seal!, the pretty fish when we went snorkeling!! Most of all, I loved seeing the unbelievably beautiful cliffs and shoreline and waterfalls. Boating into and through the caves was really over the top, adding excitement to an already perfect trip. This really is the best way to see Kauai. If you have one tour to do on this island, this is the one! Tips: Go in the morning-i think the water is less choppy then. If you tend to get seasick (like I do), take Dramamine, and you will enjoy the trip thoroughly. Leave a tip for this small business. They certainly earned it.

5.00Hawaii is truly a treasure trove of natural wonders, with several sites often cited as its most spectacular, such as the Na Pali Coast. The Na Pali Coast in Kauai is characterized by its majestic 3,000-foot green cliffs, extensive sea caves, and a vibrant marine ecosystem including dolphins and turtles, with waterfalls gracefully descending into the Pacific Ocean. What an amazing trip! It was so much fun to spend time with my family and siblings. Kauai: Nā Pali Coast Zodiac Raft Expedition and Snorkeling by Na Pali Riders. If you ever get the chance to visit, this tour is one you MUST experience. Thank you ALL for such an incredible experience with unforgettable memories.

5.00This is an adventure of life time. Sit in front, hang on tight and enjoy the ride. The views are incredible, the caves were memorizing, and the snorkeling was great. You ride a zodiac with about 25+ people , you see the nā Pali Coast and other landmarks from the boat, if accessible you go in and out of caves, and stop at a snorkel spot also weather permitting. We went out in the early morning caught the sunrise at the office and then headed out on our adventure. The only tip I would suggest is if you sit on the front on the way back switch sides so you can even out your "workout" from hanging on. Your body will be sore from the jolting but in my opinion it is well worth the memories and the experience. If you have a fear of swimming or the ocean leave it behind and go anyways you will not regret this. Safety was top priority and at no point did anyone in our group have any issues and we had 3/10 being non swimmers.
