Begin your day tour with a hotel pick-up in Khao Lak between 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM, and depart for the river. Hop on a bamboo raft and float along the waters, relax and enjoy the stunningly beautiful rainforest around you as your raft is pulled by a local boatman.

Visit a sea turtle conservation center working to save and increase the number of sea turtles in the region. The Royal Thai Navy plays an active role in turtle conservation and baby turtles are brought to the center, where they are nursed for 6-8 months before being released into the sea.

Finish the tour with a trip to Ton Pling Waterfall, the most popular waterfall in the area. Experience the lovely atmosphere and marvel at the amazing environment surrounding you. Swim in the small ponds at the waterfall and just enjoy the relaxing ambiance, before being dropped off back at your hotel.

Excellent value for money & well organised! So peaceful rafting through the lush greenery - one I will always remember! Also the thoughtful touches mesnt a lot and were so welcome ie the water, coffee and water melon / all complimentary! Also the matcha latte at the cafe at the conservation centre was on point! ❤️

If you’re after a relaxing, intuitive and fun experience, this is for you. Starting with an effortless pickup from our hotel, then made our way to the turtle sanctuary. Then to the bamboo raft which is that quiet you can hear yourself breathe (so relaxing). Then Finished with a swim at the base of the waterfall. The guide (Robert) made it even more amazing with information about the places we went, and just feeling at ease the whole time. Highly recommended for a half day activity with the kids.
A must half day adventure suitable for all ages 👍

Khao Lak bamboo rafting and sea turtle conservation is a must. The bamboo rafting is mystical and magical. The peaceful calm tranquil waters are relaxing and meditative. The natural lush green landscape is breathtaking. The sea turtle conservation is informative and educational. The tour ends with a waterfall visit where you can enjoy a cool swim. Our tour guide Boom was informative and friendly with a good sense of humour that made our half day trip feel full 🙏

Marta, the host, was excellent. The rafting was excellent. The waterfall was dangerous entering and exiting. The turtle experience was very informative.

Very happy with this tour as my wife was so happy to see turtles and we saw snakes on the bamboo ride down the river. Thanks Bom and Jerome very nice guide/driver

Really good trip and good value for money. Our guid was very knowledgeable and seemed to care a lot about the turtles and conservation efforts. The bamboo rafting was lovely and relaxing, you will get a bit wet but it's worth it for the experience. We especially enjoyed spotting the snakes and monkeys.

The turtle experience was great. Our guide was quite knowledgeable. He was on his first day so I guess as he gets more experience his English and his knowledge will improve. Rafting was very relaxing

Bamboo rafting was nice, but expected the surrounding to be more into the jungle. The turtle conservation center was very very touristic and we do not believe that the wellbeing of the turtles stands here at the first place. Turtles swim in very unclean water, small pools, without natural elements and some are all alone. Some turtles stay in this center their whole life under these horrible conditions. They also avoid answering questions related to this. Please do NOT support these businesses! At the end of the tour we stopped at a waterfall, the waterfall looks nice, but there were too many people to enjoy a good swim… overal this trip was very very commercial and disappointing. At the end they even ask for tips themselves.
