Le Marais/ Paris tour is to discover the secrets of one of the most exciting old area of the city.
You explore the beauty of French architecture of the aristocracy and royalty of France, waking in the narrow streets, along typical ‘Hotel Particuliers’- French urban ‘mansion’.
You admire the unique in Europe ‘Place de Vosges’ former ‘Place Royale’, where French writer, Victor Hugo lived and wrote the romantic novel ’Notre-Dame de Paris’ and the modern art galleries around it.
You walk along perfume and vintage shops, so appreciated by both Parisians and the travelers and small local food shops and French cafes and terraces.
My itinerary leads you to off – touristy spots, court- yards and gardens, to the Jewish district, with its typical food stores and refined kosher pastry.
Next to it, the lively LGBT district is to be visited especially for its cafés, bars and cool boutiques (optional).

5.00We spent a lovely morning with Jill exploring Les Marais. The rain didn't dampen our experience Jill was very engaging, very knowledgeable and very passionate, we fell in love with this little sector of Paris. I would highly recommend going on this tour with Jill, you'll not be disappointed, in fact you'll love every minute, we were sorry to see the end, we could have travelled all day with Jill, she was amazing and friendly and tailored the tour to your interests.

5.00Great Guide, Jill, who was high energy, knowledgeable and fun. The subject matter was interesting but she gave it life. It was very cold but in spite of that she made the trip so meaningful that you forgot the cold. She even brought each of us a Christmas cookie.
Jill is both knowledgeable and funny

5.00I have been to the marais several times, but Jill opened my eyes to things and stories that were new to me, interesting and sometimes surprising. We met Jesus Christ in a painting in St Paul Church, walked over an elevated road alobg with roman troops, rode carriages of the middle ages driven by drunk drivers, tasted delicacies of parisian food, and finaly understood why Paris is the "city of lights". If rou want to experience all that you need to take this tour with Jill who has endless stories and surprises over every corner of the city in a funny way, tailored to your interests. It was really great !!!

We saw parts of le Marais that we never could have seen without her! Jill was considerate of our need for occasional breaks as an older couple.
