  Surfing is a great sport but idea of having 2hr introductory class is terribly wrong. All people in the class were complete beginners and you are not even given the time to have a little warm up and stretch for such a demanding sport as a beginner. After 5 mins of explanation, you get in the water, then go out again, get instructions on how to stand up on the board and go back to the water without having fully practiced to navigate the waves. I severely damaged my ankle within the first 1 hour. Don’t get me wrong, staff were all great, also very helpful after the incident but it’s not worth it. Have proper surf classes if you want to learn this sport.

  Brillant fun! Well run, organised and 3 instructors were so lovely, fun and experienced. My 14 yr old and I loved our 2 hour surf lesson!

  Our humble instructors mentioned their names briefly at the end of our lessons. Hope I got their names right: Marcus and Tosh/Trent?? These two were excellent! Instructions given were clear and fundamental steps given in sequential order to help us succeed. No nonsense and safety talk given for our protection. My teenager daughter and I enjoyed our first surfing lessons very much under very safe and structured lessons. It was not easy for us to "catch the waves" but we managed to stand on the very gentle waves. I only wish there are slightly smaller boards because I am petite. Nonetheless, wonderful workout! Well done and hope to return one day.
