Our driver, Roddy, was the best. He alone deserves 5 stars. He was very accommodating, personable, and knowledgeable. I would take another tour with him. My only issue was the tour itself. The description says it goes to Loch Ness, but that is a little misleading. It goes to Fort Augustus which is where the water flows into the loch. The loch itself is a little bit of a walk. Since there were members of my family with mobility issues, they were unable to make the walk. We had booked the optional boat tour of the loch, but we missed it due to a road closure. Also, most of the local businesses in the towns we stopped in were closed because we were there either too early or too late. However, since Roddy was so great, it was still an extremely enjoyable tour.

It’s a very scenic bus tour of the lochs and highlands. Small group (and bus) was great. Our driver/guide was very personable and informative. Do keep in mind that you will be spending most of your time on the bus with several short stops on the way to and from Loch Ness. But it was an excellent way to see so much and not to have to drive yourself

Roddy was the best tour guide, I think I've ever had. He made our trip comfortable and memorable. There were plenty of bathroom stops and snack, lunch stops. We also got to shop. He handled an unforeseen detour well and made us all feel safe and secure. I will never forget my trip to the highlands and loved every minute of it even in the rain and drizzle. It was amazing and you should book this tour.

This tour was the perfect balance of history and site seeing. We only had one day to explore the highlands and this was a great way to do it. Our guide Roddy was amazing. It was very rainy that day and he was incredibly thoughtful and still made sure we all had a great experience. A lot of the sites you see while staying in the car and doing a drive by with a few stops in towns as well as bathroom stops. But with how extensive the highlands are, this is the best way to get it all in. Also having the smaller group made it easier. We also did this toward the end of our trip which was nice to give our feet a break.
