Start with a walking tour of the history, culture, and legends of one of Europe’s best-loved cities.
Head through Green Park to Buckingham Palace, watch the world-famous Changing of the Guard ceremony (certain days). Head to Westminster, see Downing Street, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, and the Houses of Parliament.
Then, head to Westminster Abbey. Since the coronation of William the Conqueror in 1066, all coronations of English and British monarchs have been in Westminster Abbey.
Please note: The Changing of the Guard happens Mon/Wed/Fri/Sun only - 10am tour

After a stroll through lovely Green Park, we reach Buckingham Palace - official home of the King! Your guide will tell stories of British Royal history as you admire this beautiful Palace. On certain days you can watch the world-famous Changing of the Guard ceremony, and your guide will find the perfect viewing spot! Afterward, walk along the Royal Mall.

5.00The tour was great! Mark was fantastic. He times everything perfectly and we saw the changing of the guards as well as the return if the guards to where King Charles is living now. There is a bathroom break and an opportunity to get coffee. We enjoyed it very much.

4.00Brandon was great! Informative and funny. The title of this tour is misleading. While we saw the parade march to Buckingham, we were several blocks from it. We were expecting to actually see the palace as were the others in our tour because several asked Brandon about seeing Buckingham. Again, Brandon was great but Viator should rename this tour.

5.00Our tour guide, Will, was fantastic! I wasn’t sure what to expect—sometimes guided tours can feel a little “meh” since you can technically see the sights on your own. But this was so worth it. Getting the history and stories behind each stop made everything come alive. Pro tip: pack an umbrella or poncho! It rained on us mid-tour, but Will kept things rolling without missing a beat. My husband ended up grabbing an (absurdly overpriced) umbrella from a souvenir shop along the way—at least it makes for a funny memory. The tour itself ran about 3 hours—started at 10:00, wrapped up with Will around 1:00. After Big Ben, they hand you your Westminster ticket so you can explore inside on your own. All in all, such a great way to kick off our London trip—fun and informative!

5.00Brendon was a wonderful guide. He was knowledgeable and attentive. I recommend it highly. I was a bit disappointed that we did not go to Buckingham Palace.
