Speed…. The London Tour

The only way to really see anything is to be on the upper deck of the bus… The uncovered part. The tour guide was very thorough, but we whipped around and rushed through so many things there was ever really a chance to get a good look or take a good picture. To his credit, we learned a lot of history and saw a lot of things. It was just very quick and very rested. The pictures I did take were blurry because we were moving so fast.

7pm your was cancelled with no notification, so to access the tour we had to wait for an hour in the freezing cold. Would have been useful to be notified ahead of time of the cancellation and reassignment of our tour time, as we were rushing to get there.

We were told to arrive at 6:30pm, but the bus driver and tour guide only arrived at 6:50pm, leaving a line of people waiting in the freezing cold. Absolutely disrespectful. On top of that, the bus windows were very dirty, which made pictures look bad. We arrived early and sat on the first row of seats on the upper deck. Extremely disappointing with how dirty that front window was. Lastly, and most importantly, we paid for a 90-minute tour, but ours only lasted one hour and seemed to be rushed, with the tour guide speaking at a very fast pace and clearly having issues with the driver. All in all, I do hope to hear back from Viator Customer Service in order to receive a refund for the 30 minutes that never happened. After all, that corresponds to 1/3 of the price we paid for this very poor tour.

Was a fun way to see London. The lights of the city were beautiful and our guide Tom was an entertaining and knowledgeable storyteller.
