The Navajo name for Lower Antelope Canyon is Hasdeztwazi or “Spiral Rock Arches.” This incredible canyon has been created over many thousands of years by the relentless forces of water and wind, slowly carving and sculpting the sandstone into forms, textures, and shapes which we observe today.
The views in Lower Antelope Canyon change constantly as the sun moves across the sky, filtering lights softly across the stone walls. These ever-moving sun angles bounce light back and forth across the narrow canyon’s walls, creating a dazzling display of color, light, and shadow.

Was very rushed. Unable to really enjoy time down there, spent a lot of money to visit but was rushed to move on and not able to take enough photos with our group. It says approximately one hour but we were done under 45 mins. Try Dixie’s instead of Ken’s. Maybe it was just our tour guide, I didn’t catch his name but he was a younger guy.

We did the 2pm Lower Canyon tour Nov 3rd and it was a great experience. We were lucky to get a spot so last minute and we’re so happy we did. Our guide was so nice, funny, and knowledgeable. He made sure to interact with the group and share his knowledge of the canyon. It’s a must do!

We had an incredible experience with Ken’s Tours at Lower Antelope Canyon! Our guide, Antenyo (Tony), was exceptional—very knowledgeable, easy-going, and explained everything in great detail. He’s also a pro photographer and took some amazing pictures of us. Forgive me if I’ve spelled his name wrong—he mentioned we could call him Tony, so I didn’t pay much attention to the exact spelling. Highly recommend booking through Ken’s Tours and asking for Tony!

lower antelope canyon included narrow and non-standard steps, was not clostrophobis because of the open to the sky aspects

Honestly one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. But, the guides were a bit rushed and did not space out our groups, so it ended up being pretty packed and felt like we were being herded through.
