Vendors display their goods such as fresh seafood, fruits, vegetables, and other local products right on the ground where the train passes through. As the train approaches, vendors quickly retract their awnings and move their goods to make way for the train. It's a thrilling and unusual sight to see a bustling market transform into a clear path for a passing train within seconds.

What makes the market special is that it occupies part of a train line. A few times a day, a train runs directly through the market. A few minutes before the train comes, vendors lower their umbrellas and move some of their produce away from the train tracks.
