We really loved the proposed visit. We learn bcp about chocolate, whether for children or parents. All aspects are seen: history, type of chocolates, production chain. Tastings are not left out and we come out repulsed! A treasure hunt has been planned for children.

Very nice visit! My 7 year old daughter enjoyed the descent into the elevator that leads to the immersive tour. The different rooms were sublime. The story is very interesting, accessible and understandable to young children. Chocolate tasting ... a real delight to finish in style! We had a very pleasant time.

With about 15 children from the AES, we were delighted to visit the Cailler factory with a picnic in the gardens at noon. A nice exit in perspective except that the weather was not with us and a train was cancelled at Bubble station. It's impossible to be on time, oh my... Following a phone call with the Cailler house, our visiting schedule was moved and a corner of the cafeteria was made available for lunch. A big THANK YOU to Maison Cailler for these adaptations, the Welcoming, the very nice visit and of course, for the chocolate tasted! The team of La Courte Echelle

It was one of my best experiences visiting a chocolate factory in Switzerland after hearing lots of comments about it. All the scenery was surprising not mentioning the tasting.

Sightseeing for sure. But perfectly constructed to be both informative, surprising and tasty. A Swiss chocolate monument that allows you to discover a local history. Nice shop. Charming staff.

This is just a great experience. A lot more authentic and intimate than some of the other chocolate tours, with a great interactive display, the chance to make your own chocolate, taste a lot of delicious cocoa, and learn a lot along the way too. Stunning location too, with lots to do nearby. Gruyere well worth a visit on the way down to the Riviera.

We loved the Maison Cailler chocolate factory visit from start to finish. When we arrived the air pleasantly smelled like chocolate and we were able to get on the next available tour at the ticket desk. You are provided with an audio guide and ticket that both look like chocolate bars and you are taken through several rooms that explain the history of chocolate in the new world and in Switzerland. The best part of the tour is how different rooms smell like chocolate and you can pick up some samples along the way. The main part of the tour takes about 20 minutes and could be enjoyed by people of different ages. There are some interactive items at the end like cocoa pods you can touch and smell and some picture opportunities. I probably spent the most time in the last room trying samples of all the different chocolates that Cailler made - my wife told me about this when she visited Switzerland in 2012 and she was glad to share the experience still held up. At the end we spent some time looking around the shop because we enjoyed the chocolate and got a big bag to share with friends back home. The chocolate is fresh but be mindful if you're travelling on a hot day. The ticket price 17 CHF and there are discounted rates for students, seniors and children. I felt I got my money's worth for the chocolate samples at the end but feel I overindulged. We had started our day at the Gruyere castle, visited the cheese factory and finished our time in this area at this chocolate factory so we enjoyed a picnic at a nearby table before we left to our next city during our road trip around Switzerland. We spent 1.5 hours in the area and felt that was more than enough time but families with small children may spend more because there is a nice playground here too.

The visit is very enjoyable because they explain the whole story. It's super interactive. At the end of the visit you will get a taste of all the chocolates. I would return 100%
