You’ll keep costs down by booking this group tour, and possibly make a few friends along the way. You’ll start the tour by a trip to the local souk to check out the ingredients you’ll be using, and end with mint tea.

Welcome to our cooking class, where you will meet a chefs with over 10 / 30 years of experience. We have carefully planned every step of the experience, from grocery shopping to the art of cooking. First, we will meet near Le Nôtre Pâtisserie, then head to the market to purchase all the necessary ingredients, including fresh meat and vegetables. Our menu will include a starter, a main course, and a traditional Moroccan dessert. We will teach you the secrets of our cuisine, guide you through the entire process from scratch, and help you create an unforgettable experience. While our dishes are cooking, we will enjoy a cup of coffee or Moroccan herbal tea of your choice, served with traditional Moroccan sweets. We will ensure you have a memorable and enjoyable cooking class, from preparing your own spices to learning the tradition of eating with your hands. A market is conveniently located next door. Vegetarian and vegan guests are welcome.

5.00Meriem and her brother were so welcoming, generous with their time and expertise, and fun to cook with. We loved visiting Meriem's local grocer, butcher, and baker for ingredients. After learning about all the spices Moroccan meals use, we helped make a feast of 3 salads (eggplant, potato, and carrot), THE BEST beef tagine, and strawberries with orange blossom water. We left with many new recipes, plenty of leftovers, and delicious spices for home. Thank you for a wonderful taste of Morocco! ❤️

5.00Meriem and her brother were so kind, knowledgeable, and generous. We felt very welcome in their home and loved learning from them. We started with a visit to the butcher, grocer, and baker around the corner from Meriem's home. There, she and her brother expertly directed us in making 3 delicious salads (carrot, potato, and eggplant) using their own blends of spices and fermented lemon. We made THE BEST beef tagine (with lots of assistance). Dessert was a simple and elevated blend of strawberries, orange blossom water, and fresh mint. We all sat down to break bread together and were gifted plenty of leftovers. This kind duo even sent us with a home remedy for our friends who were unable to join because of upset stomachs. We were able to purchase some of the family's spices at excellent prices and left with lots of new recipes to try + a Youtube video tutorial. We are very grateful for this wonderful Moroccan experience!

5.00It was a great experience! The class was done in a private home. Very well organized. The chef and sister had everything ready so we wasted no time. Learned a lot about spices. And we ate the food that we prepared!!! Highly recommend!!

5.00It was an amazing few hours, Meriem explained every step and every ingredient very clearly, she is a great cook and has a lot of potential. Family of experienced and specialized chefs. Her house is beautiful and the area to do the cooking course is amazing! I recommend it 100%

5.00Nice experience, super recommended. Meriem is passionate about what he does He taught us the ingredients used in Moroccan cuisine, we tasted the varied flavors. Primeo welcomed us with Tea, then prepared together from salads bottom dish and dessert. It was delicious.

I discovered traditional Moroccan gastronomy, while sharing a warm moment with an exceptional host. Meriem was very kind, very attentive and incredibly patient. This cooking course was really one of the highlights of my trip, and I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Marrakech!”
