Visit Maui’s famous snorkeling and diving destinations Molokini Crater and Turtle Town (or Coral Gardens) on a snorkeling catamaran! Molokini is an extinct volcanic cone and the snorkeling visibility is usually 100 feet or more! Many different species of marine life live within Molokini. Green sea turtles, fish, urchins, harmless sharks, manta rays and coral surrounded by crystal clear water all year around make Molokini a must do on your vacation activity list. This boat tour is on all tourist must see lists, and it's one of Maui's favorite activities. This is also one of Maui's most family-friendly activities.

Join us on our awesome Molokini and Turtle Town snorkeling adventure aboard Malolo. Malolo is a 55 foot comfortable, stable catamaran. She is equipped with easy access stairways into the water on both the front and rear of the boat. There are also 2 restrooms, trampolines to lay out on and a friendly, experienced captain and crew. A continental breakfast and deli lunch are both included as is all your top-notch snorkeling gear. We also have flotation devices such as foam noodles, body boards and float vests for your use. Optional wetsuits and high quality 16 mega pixel Olympus underwater digital cameras are available to rent.

3.00The crew was knowledgeable but not too friendly. The captain did search for whales and we saw a few. Food was okay. Not an outstanding trip but I’d say average.

3.00Our snorkeling experience was a bit mixed. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great, so visibility was poor and we didn’t see much marine life. We were later taken to another spot, but it really seemed better suited for experienced swimmers, which made it harder for everyone in our group to fully enjoy. The crew was just okay overall, and the captain didn’t come across as particularly enthusiastic, which affected the vibe of the trip a bit. That said, the highlight for our family was getting to see whales, which was really special and memorable. I do think this experience could have been much better on a day with nicer weather.

3.00If the weather isn’t just right they don’t take you to the crater, but off shore locations. I wish we had known this. While the boat ride was fun, the snorkeling from the shore beaches is not much different.

5.00The trip was great turtle town was awesome. The only thing I would say is it’s kind of confusing on what time you’re supposed to show up at the boat. We thought it was 630 Showtime not departure time but the captain was super nice about it.

4.00This experience was very cool. The dives were very unique . Only thing was disappointing that the wetsuits had a charge, and communication wasn’t always clear. For example winds picked up and most of us got soaked on the way back including all of our stuff. Would have been nice to add, please bring water panchos just in case, especially during the March/ April months . Food was good geared towards mostly adults-we brought our own for our kids. Having more of a variety especially for kids would be great. More sizes for wetsuits would be good for kids.

5.00Maui snorkling trip to Molokini crater and turtle town on the Malolo 13.Our first time being in Maui and this was the highlight of our trip captian looked like he was born in the water here and staff were keeping us all safe felt very comfortable. Would absolutely do this trip again !!

5.00Ahhhh - just a lovely experience! Molokini was a bucket list thing but there wasn’t much to see there other than a school of black fish. Was a good spot to practice and get used to the GoPro we rented though. Great breakfast of fruit and muffins and pastries on the way out that the kids enjoyed. Turtle town was next and that made our day. 2 surfacing turtles that stayed up for a visit and a bunch on the sea floor chilling. Lovely little lunch and an exciting splashy ride back! And we still have the rest of our day to enjoy. ☀️Highly recommended!!

3.00We booked a Molokini Crater snorkeling tour specifically for that destination. However, we were only informed onboard that we wouldn’t be going due to weather. Instead, we were only taken to Turtle Town—a location easily accessible by car. Advance communication would have been appreciated. The crew’s handling of the situation made things worse. They were clearly aware of the rough conditions, yet some passengers—including us—were left standing on the return trip as waves crashed over the deck. We were soaked and struggling to keep our balance, yet at that moment we were handed a tip board and asked for written feedback. That felt extremely inconsiderate. On top of that, as we approached shore, we were told to sit on wet seats on the deck due to shoreline regulations. Apparently, everyone is supposed to be seated. The photographer Joe took nice pictures! But FYI they charge $45 per digital photo. Please don’t respond with a generic, copy-paste reply—I’m not interested in an insincere response.

5.00Boat is crowded, but the crew was so nice and delivered good snorkeling and turtles! Breakfast and lunch provided with the package, catered from Whole Foods.
