Visit Maui’s famous snorkeling and diving destinations Molokini Crater and Turtle Town (or Coral Gardens) on a snorkeling catamaran! Molokini is an extinct volcanic cone and the snorkeling visibility is usually 100 feet or more! Many different species of marine life live within Molokini. Green sea turtles, fish, urchins, harmless sharks, manta rays and coral surrounded by crystal clear water all year around make Molokini a must do on your vacation activity list. This boat tour is on all tourist must see lists, and it's one of Maui's favorite activities. This is also one of Maui's most family-friendly activities.

Join us on our awesome Molokini and Turtle Town snorkeling adventure aboard Malolo. Malolo is a 55 foot comfortable, stable catamaran. She is equipped with easy access stairways into the water on both the front and rear of the boat. There are also 2 restrooms, trampolines to lay out on and a friendly, experienced captain and crew. A continental breakfast and deli lunch are both included as is all your top-notch snorkeling gear. We also have flotation devices such as foam noodles, body boards and float vests for your use. Optional wetsuits and high quality 16 mega pixel Olympus underwater digital cameras are available to rent.

1.00I booked the molokini crater snorkeling excursion, we arrived at 1230 as requested got our boarding passes we board the boat at 1p keep in mind nothing was said about the wind/ weather. As we take off an announcement was made due to the weather we were unable to go to the molokini crater. We weren’t given any choice but to go to some lil cove which was quite disappointing, hardly saw any fish definitely didn’t see any turtles which might have been nice I guess, this was not worth the $$$ at all. If anything a choice would have been nice and/or a chance to reschedule.

5.00It was amazing! Bring a camera or a waterproof bag to put your phone in if you want to take pictures. There was a photographer on board if you forget, but the pictures are pricey.

4.00Organization was good, crew was extremely friendly and did well with novice snorkelers. Was concerned it was gonna be a instructor lead swim but thankfully it was not and each were on their own to pay attention to where they were snorkeling relative to the boat and timing. I do think it’s a bit expensive as are all of the tours similar in nature. I know the crew doesn’t want police everything but one suggestion would be to ensure that people are not occupying too much space simply for their convenience as when it is a full boat others suffer and it was a point of frustration for me which ended up in a discussion with an individual (family) who clearly didn’t take consideration of anybody else over their own… shouldn’t be a fight that I have to have on the boat when there’s supervisory capacity. Snorkeling was good with lots of fish and coral and a number of turtles at turtle town.

5.00We had so much fun on this snorkeling adventure! The crew was great and very knowledgeable. We were first time snorkelers and they made sure we knew what we were doing and felt safe. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Maui!

4.00The snorkeling spots are great! Expect boat to be packed to capacity with every seat full and crowded. Staff was just ok, not super personable or approachable. Underwater photos are very pricey from photographer.
