You will be visiting some attractions like: Vinh Trang temple, Visit My Tho and Ben Tre where are the heart of the Mekong Delta region. Cruising on the motor boat along Tien River, paddle along the small canals on a rowing boat.

I was very disappointed that the tour operator, Viet Nam Adventure Tours, did not respond to numerous Viator App texts to confirm pickup details the day before the trip…this is unusual in my experience. However, the tour guide, Wendy, did text via WhatsApp in the morning to confirm the early morning pickup at our hotel. This small group tour (max 9) would have been crowded in our van, but there was only 5 of us. Please note that it takes 1.5-2 hours to get from District 1 hotels to the Mekong Delta region. Wendy was wonderful and the itinerary was very enjoyable! I am giving this tour 5 stars due to the tour guide, Wendy, not the tour operator. The van was clean (needed new shock absorbers) and the driver was very competent and friendly.

Thanks to cheerful guide of the tour David (Big Dave) and the programme containing variety of authentical experiences, from the very beginning till the very end tour was interactive, interesting and full of impressions. Though it is hard to put into words experiences where all five sensors play the main role, my brief overall evaluation would be 9 out of 10. Why 9 instead of 10? Because time was limited and each of the places visited was worth the same amount of time as the entire tour.

Alex was a really terrific guide! He was informative on a range of topics and a good sense of humor. Also was very generous and frank in answering our questions. The tour itinerary itself was a little disappointing. You see the Mekong River delta, which is cool, but around that you're simply ported through a series of shops.
